Richard Roxburgh (Bali 2002) and Rebecca Gibney (Back to the Rafters) are leading the cast of the Stan Original Series Prosper, an epic family drama taking a provocative peek behind the curtain of power and privilege.

Here’s everything we know.

What is Prosper about?

The razor-sharp drama is set in the inner sanctum of the evangelical megachurch, U Star, run by the wealthy and powerful Quinn family. When their charismatic founder and pastor announces an impulsive US expansion, the collision between faith and ambition threatens to tear his family and church apart.

“Prosper is a powerful family drama that is cleverly written and arrives with impeccable timing. Cal Quinn is an irresistible character,” Roxburgh said of the role when announced back in March.

“He’s a luminous and powerful figure, yet plagued with doubt and secrets. And the excellent writing team have surrounded him with equally complex characters. I can’t wait to jump into this with the cast and bring it all to life.”

The Stan Original Series Prosper will premiere on January 18 2024, only on Stan.

Who is in Stan Original Series Prosper?

Roxburgh stars as Cal Quinn, Founder and Global Pastor at U Star with Gibney as Abi Quinn, his wife and Worship Leader.

The cast also includes Ewen Leslie (Bali 2002) playing Dion Quinn, the dutiful eldest son, with Ming-Zhu Hii (Peter Rabbit) starring as his wife, Taryn Quinn. Jacob Collins-Levy (True History of the Kelly Gang) will star as Jed Quinn, a rebel with a cause and youngest son within the Quinn family, along with Hayley McCarthy (The Originals) as Isabel ​​Kalani, the only daughter of the Quinn family, as the gifted singer-songwriter of U Star.

Jordi Webber (Deadlands) plays Isabel’s American husband Benji and in his breakthrough role, Alexander D’Souza plays Moses, the adopted son of Cal and Abi. 

Other cast includes Jacek Koman (Moulin Rouge!) as Eli, Andrea Solonge (Class of 07) as Juno, Brigid Zengeni (Totally Completely Fine) will play Rosa, Juno’s mother, and Alex FitzAlan (The Wilds) will play US DJ Maddox.
