Based on the blockbuster book by New York Times bestselling author Blake Crouch, the nine-episode series has an all-star cast and looks to get the heart racing!

Official Synopsis
The series will follow Jason Dessen (played by Joel Edgerton), a physicist, professor, and family man who — one night while walking home on the streets of Chicago — is abducted into an alternate version of his life. Wonder quickly turns into a nightmare when he tries to return to his reality amid the mind-bending landscape of lives he could have lived.
In this labyrinth of realities, he embarks on a harrowing journey to get back to his true family and save them from the most terrifying, unbeatable foe imaginable: himself.
When will Dark Matter be released?
Dark Matter will premiere on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on Wednesday, May 8, followed by one new episode every Wednesday through June 26.
Who is in the cast?
Starring alongside Joel Edgerton is Academy Award winner Jennifer Connelly, Alice Braga, Jimmi Simpson, Dayo Okeniyi and Oakes Fegley.
The author of the OG novel also serves as creator, executive producer, showrunner and writer alongside executive producers Matt Tolmach and David Manpearl with Joel also serving as executive producer.

First published by Blake in 2016, Dark Matter was nominated for the 2016 World Technology Awards and according to Good Reads (and its 500,841 ratings and 58,923 reviews) Blake’s novel is a “mindbending, relentlessly surprising thriller”.
The official synopsis reads: Jason Dessen is walking home through the chilly Chicago streets one night, looking forward to a quiet evening in front of the fireplace with his wife, Daniela, and their son, Charlie—when his reality shatters.
