Joe was the last Farmer to make his Final Pick on Farmer Wants a Wife 2024, and he chose to leave the show in a relationship with Sarah.
The Finale was a nail-biter for fans, as it wasn’t obvious whether Keely or Sarah was Joe’s front-runner.
After dates to meet the family and friends of his Final Two, Joe pulled Keely aside and let her know that his heart was elsewhere. Then he officially sealed his relationship with Sarah.
Now, ahead of the Reunion, Joe has confirmed whether he and Sarah are still together.
Are Farmer Joe and Sarah engaged?
In early June, Sarah serenaded Joe with a sweet song on Instagram, lamenting its cut from the show.
But it wasn’t just her musical talents catching attention—fans quickly zeroed in on the glittering ring on her finger.
The comments exploded with speculation, with one fan hilariously stating, “I spy with my little eye a pretty ring on your finger.”
Another added, “First thing I noticed!! Do you have something to tell everyone Sarah? 🤪♥️💍”
The pair are yet to respond, so watch this space!
Are Farmer Joe and Sarah still together?
They are! Although the couples weren’t meant to reveal if they’re still together until the reunion aired, Joe has confirmed back in May that they are, in fact, still a couple.
“Sarah and I are still together,” Joe flat out told the Canberra Times.
“There’s been a bit of a backlash, a lot of media saying that we’re not and all the rest of it.
“We’ve definitely had our ups and downs, we’ve had trials and tribulations, like anyone else. I think it’s been exacerbated by the whole experience which we had to go through.”
The couple confirmed at the Reunion – which was filmed about a month after the Finale – that they were still together. However, they did share that they’ve had some rough patch.
“It was challenging,” Sarah explained. “We did have good moments but I think neither of us was prepared for how we were going to be feeling.”
“I definitely got on Sarah’s nerves a bit,” Joe added.
However, he confirmed that he and Sarah were “still hanging in there” as a couple.
Furthermore, an Instagram photo shared by Sarah the morning after the Finale aired suggested that the couple are still going strong.
She shared a photo of her and Joe snuggled up in bed together. “Fun fact: My favourite movie is ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 days’, so I wore this dress as a good omen. Can confirm I didn’t lose the guy in 10 days 💛 (According to the rumours it was 11 😉)” She captioned the photo.

Sarah and Keely bought Farmer Joe home to meet their families.
At Sarah’s home visit, her mother warmed to Joe very quickly. However, her best friend Em hit him with the hard questions. During their chat, Em came to the conclusion that Sarah “was a bit deeper” in the relationship, which caused drama between the couple.
Meanwhile, on Keely’s home visit in Yeppoon, she and Joe took her parent’s yacht for a spin before sitting down for lunch with her family.
The day went smoothly, and Keely’s parents got along well with Joe. Her brother called the Farmer aside for a chat during which Joe confirmed that he was ready for a serious relationship.
“That is exactly what I want, I want to be on the farm, I want to start another chapter of my life there and I really want to do it with someone,” he said.
He added: “Keely really makes me feel special. She is beautiful and she can be that ray of sunshine.”

Sarah stepped out of the car first, which led viewers to believe that he was picking Keely, however, that wasn’t the case.
“Sarah, from the moment I first saw you walking up to me, in that yellow dress, you took my breath away,” Joe told Sarah.
“I love the person you are, I love how strong and determined you are and how uncompromising you are in what you want to achieve.”
“I don’t have all the answers for us but I do see myself falling for you in the future. I want to tackle the future with you,” he continued. “I’m looking for someone who doesn’t need me but wants me. So, Sarah do you want me?”
Sarah confirmed that she did and the two headed back to Joe’s farm together.
