It’s 2023 and The Bachelors Australia is making a HUGE comeback with triple the love!
Premiering on January 9, the reality series will feature not one but THREE Bachie babes — Felix Von Hofe, Thomas Malucelli, and Jed McIntosh.
And as executive producer, Tim Ali, told Mediaweek, they’re “three guys from very different backgrounds”.
Who are the Three Bachelors Australia 2023?
Felix Von Hofe, 27, Melbourne, Victoria
Felix is a marketing manager, sports commentator and former pro basketballer!
He has played for the NBL and internationally, including in the US, where he played for the University of Eastern Washington.
According to the man himself — who stands at a mammoth 6’5 — he is not interested in the 21st-century tech-based dating world and prefers the old fashion way of getting to know people. i.e. IRL.
His ideal partner is affectionate, who loves kids and enjoys fitness…because dah, he needs a bball training buddy!
“For me, a girl’s most attractive quality is a good sense of humour. My dream date would be anything where it ends up hurting to laugh because if we’re both laughing the whole time, then it can’t get much better,” he said in his official 10 bio. CUTE!
Felix’s Contestants
Jed McIntosh, 25, Gippsland, Victoria
Jed, a drummer and songwriter of the band Mood Monroe, is hoping to find ‘The One’ during his stint on The Bachelors Australia 2023.
While the rocker has a tough boy persona and the body art to match, he’s actually quite a sensitive guy with a very big heart who is proud to stand out from the crowd by being his authentic self.
According to his official 10 bio, he is searching for a woman who is confident, passionate, empathetic, and ready to commit.
Being up on stage means he gets a lot of attention and if a girl doesn’t feel secure in herself, he’s found in the past it can create problems.
“Sometimes the reason people fall in love with you in the first place ends up being the very reason they don’t like you,” he admitted.
“A woman willing to find love on a public platform is the confidence I need in a partner.”
Jed’s Contestants
Thomas Malucelli, 35, Sydney
Thomas is a hopeless romantic looking to fall in love with the woman of his dreams on The Bachelors Australia 2023.
The Sydney-based restaurant manager was born and raised in a small town outside Florence, Italy and after moving to the US in his early twenties, he later made his way to Australia, which he now calls home.
While the 35-year-old enjoys meditation and practising mindfulness, he is also a self-confessed adrenaline junkie and outdoorsman.
As for who is ideal woman is, he is looking for someone who is confident, honest and a great communicator.
He believes that love pushes you to open yourself up entirely to another person, allowing yourself to really be seen and understood.
“The excitement and wonder of early love, mutual discovery, delighting fantasies, is magical,” he said in his official 10 bio.
“The idea of finding the love of my life in a context that is so out of my comfort zone really excites me.”
