MAFS Australia 2024 bride Ellie Dix has been seriously unlucky in love, but she’s determined to find the “white picket fence” ending she’s always dreamt of.

Ellie was previously engaged but found out that her fiance was cheating on her and they cancelled the wedding just one month before it was meant to take place.

Though it happened several years ago, the betrayal ran deep, and Ellie has said it leaves her with a constant need for reassurance.

According to her MAFS bio, the disloyalty brought out a tendency in her to “bend over backwards for people, even when she knows they do not deserve it”.

What does Ellie do for work?

Ellie is a cosmetic nurse, which means administering anti-wrinkle injections, filler and all that jazz, as well as treatments like laser facials, tattoo removal and microdermabrasion.

Before becoming a cosmetic nurse in 2015, she worked as a nurse in “many different specialities”.

Where is Ellie from?

Ellie is originally from New Zealand but now lives in Queensland on the Gold Coast.
