If you’re up for adventure and high-stakes search and rescue in some of the toughest terrain on the planet, then you better get clicking and apply for the Ultimate Escape.

If the new series sounds familiar, we’re not surprised because it certainly feels like a cross between SAS Australia, The Amazing Race and Australian Survivor.

The exciting reality show is also based on a Finnish format created by Rabbit Films and according to Seven, everyday heroes will race against the clock (and each other) to try complete the journey with teams of two attempting performing a rescue operation.

One team member will need strength and endurance, while the other will rely on their smarts to compete for a big cash prize.

Seven’s chief content officer, entertainment programming, Angus Ross, said: “Ultimate Escape is gripping TV, offering viewers fast-paced, jaw-dropping action supercharged by real emotion.”

How to apply for the Ultimate Escape

Sound like something you’d like to be a part of? Well, you’re in luck because casting for the show is now open.

HELIUM (the company behind the series) is looking for teams of two, aged 18 years and over.

You also must be available for up to five weeks in May and June 2023 and must be able to travel overseas, plus want to win a “life-changing prize”. Dah!
