Married At First Sight bride Brook Crompton is now a mum. The bride, who was originally paired with Chris Nield, has just given birth to her first child.
The reality TV star and her fiancé Harry have welcomed a baby boy, according to Daily Mail. “She’s absolutely on cloud nine,” a close friend told the publication. “She’s so excited to be a mum.”
Brook and Harry have yet to share any photos or news of their newborn son. The MAFS star’s last Instagram post was on April 20, when she shared some photos from her surprise baby shower.
Her ex told Daily Mail he was pleased for Brook. “Happy she got what she wanted,” he said.
Brook and Chris didn’t last long on MAFS, with Brook reconnecting with her ex after leaving the experiment.
Did Brook plan on getting pregnant?
In a previous interview with Chattr, Brook said she had talked about having children with Harry before they broke up the first time.
“We were settling down. We were talking about wanting to have children, you know,” she said at the time.
When she announced her pregnancy on Instagram, Brook also revealed she had hoped to become a mum for many years.
“To our little boy, you’ve already filled our world with so much hope and love. The past year, and especially these last few months, have taught me more than I ever imagined about patience, love, and the person I want to be,” she said. “I’ve dreamed of being a mother for as long as I can remember, and sharing this journey with the person I love most makes it even more special.”
She finished off by saying she couldn’t wait to meet and hold her baby boy.
What do the MAFS cast think about Brook’s pregnancy?
While most of the MAFS cast have turned against Brook, Mel Akbay, Rebecca Zukowski and Gia Fleur liked Brook’s baby shower posts.
At the time, Mel told Chattr she was glad to see Brook with such a strong support system around her.
“I’m so happy for her,” Mel said. “Despite what was shown on television, she’s such a warm, kind-hearted person and is looking forward to this next chapter of her life.”
