Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2026 bride Brook Crompton was one of the most disliked contestants near the start of the show, after she went off at Alissa Fay during a Dinner Party. She also didn’t mesh with ‘fat shaming’ groom Chris Nield, and left the experiment early.
However, she’s since rekindled with her ex Harry, who has popped the big question. Plus, the loved-up pair are now expecting their first baby together. Talk about a whirlwind!
Despite all the hate and vitriol thrown her way by MAFS fans, Brook seems to be living her best life. The former reality TV star recently shared a carousel of photos from a surprise baby breakfast her sister threw in her honour.
“My gorgeous sister surprised me with a little baby breakfast this morning,” Brook wrote in the caption. “Feeling so loved and grateful for the beautiful people in my life!”
Brook has her comments turned off, but three former MAFS brides have liked her post: Mel Akbay, Rebecca Zukowski and Gia Fleur.
Mel tells Chattr she’s pleased Brook has such a lovely support system around her. “I’m so happy for her,” Mel says. “Despite what was shown on television, she’s such a warm, kind hearted person and is looking forward to this next chapter of her life.
“She was surrounded by her sister and friends, which was so heartwarming.”
Brook’s sweet tribute to her fiancé and baby after MAFS
In March, Brook shared a compilation of videos with herself and Harry celebrating life, along with a sonogram of their unborn baby. In the caption, she gushed about how lucky she was to have such a loving family.
“Baby boy on the way, and a forever with you. To our little boy, you’ve already filled our world with so much hope and love. The past year, and especially these last few months, have taught me more than I ever imagined about patience, love, and the person I want to be,” Brook wrote.
“I’ve dreamed of being a mother for as long as I can remember, and sharing the journey with the person I love most makes it even more special.”
Brook also described Harry as her rock, safe place, and her heart. “Thank you for making my dreams come true and showing me what family truly feels like. I can’t wait to watch you become the father I know, you’ll be kind, strong, and full of love.”
