A Home and Away extra has spoiled the end-of-year cliffhanger with a rogue leaked photo. While it was swiftly deleted, the photo was shared on a popular Facebook fan group.
The Home and Away crew were filming the big cliffhanger in Orange, NSW, and fans spotted multiple cast members on set, including Ada Nicodemou (Leah Patterson), James Stewart (Justin Morgan) and Jeremy Lindsay Taylor (Sergeant David Langham).
It appears they may be searching for Georgie Parker’s character, Roo Stewart, as the extra shared a photo of a Missing Person poster.
“They filmed this last week in Orange, NSW, filming the end-of-year cliffhanger,” the Facebook admin wrote. “Roo gets kidnapped but she does not die [as] she was filming this week at Palm Beach.”
There have been no other photos from the set in Orange, but there are rumours that the cast and crew filmed at multiple locations, including a fruit farm.

What happened in Home and Away’s 2025 cliffhanger?
Home and Away’s cliffhanger for 2025, the show swapped its go-to car crash for a train crash. Some of our favourite Summer Bay residents hopped on a train to head to Off The Rails, a music festival.
It was all fun and games inside the light-hearted party carriage until disaster struck.
After hitting some stray bicycles on the tracks, the train derailed inside a tunnel, creating an epic catastrophe. Justin, Remi (Adam Rowland), Mackenzie (Emily Weir), Abigail (Hailey Pinto), Dana (Ally Harris), Lacey (Sophea Pennington), Sonny (Ryan Bown), Jo (Maddison Brown) and Eddie (Stephen Madsen) were trapped inside, with their lives on the line.
Cash, Levi and Tane were quick to rush to the crash site, with Tane refusing to listen to first responders and police officers. By rushing into the tunnel, he managed to help save lives.
At the end of the episode, Leah confided in Alf (Ray Meagher) that she had started to use Sonny to fill a gap in her life, after her nephew Theo (Matt Evans) died. “I haven’t been dealing with grief, I’ve been living with it,” she said, through tears.
It’s hard to know if the Home and Away 2026 cliffhanger will stack up against last year’s, but with much-loved Roo being involved, the stakes seem higher. However, we already know she doesn’t die or leave the show as she’s been seen filming, so all the suspense is gone. Still, you know we’ll be waiting to watch it unfold as it happens.
Home and Away airs Mondays – Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 and 7Plus.
