After becoming the latest housemate to leave the Big Brother Australia house, fan favourite Pam isn’t holding back about who she believes is playing the strongest game.
During an exclusive interview with Chattr, the 62-year-old teacher from South Australia revealed she believes Ryan’s friendly approach is more strategic than it appears, before sharing why one housemate has everything it takes to walk away with the $100,000 prize.
Pam names the biggest game-player on Big Brother Australia
Pam admitted Ryan’s biggest strength could eventually become his biggest weakness.
“I think Ryan is a very big personality in the house and he’s trying to be everybody’s friend and be kind to everyone, which is genuinely who he is. He is a lovely man,” she told Chattr.
“But it’s going to come back to bite him because eventually he’s going to have to pick and choose. He won’t be able to be as friendly to some people as he is to others.
“Ryan is definitely playing a full-on game.”
Pam said she noticed Ryan repeatedly encouraging the housemates to “be kind” during the opening days of the competition — something that eventually started to grate on her.
“I heard him saying, ‘Let’s all be kind, let’s all be kind,’ and I remember thinking, ‘I’m not actually being unkind to anyone’.”

“I even said in the house, ‘If somebody tells me to be kind one more time, I’m going to flip my lid’. That was actually directed at him,” she added.
She believes her parting message managed to rattle a few people after she left.
“I think I got into their heads a bit. I saw them sitting around afterwards talking about me on the livestream, and I thought, ‘That’s interesting’. I think I got into Talia’s head a little bit.”
Why Ryan and Talia have a major advantage
Pam believes Ryan and Talia’s close relationship gives them an edge over the rest of the house.
“For sure, they’re a threat,” she said.
“If the other housemates can’t see that, they’d have to be blind. They can communicate without really communicating. Even if it’s just walking past each other or giving a look, they’ve got someone in their corner.
“They definitely need to be separated.”
Pam reveals who she thinks should win Big Brother
While Ryan might be playing the strongest strategic game, Pam believes Charity is the contestant who deserves the title the most.
“Who should win and who will win? They’re the same person — Charity,” she told Chattr.
“She’s a gorgeous soul who’s had a very big struggle in her life. She comes from a family of 13 people and she’s an absolute powerhouse of a woman.”
Pam believes Charity has all the qualities of a winner, but there’s one obstacle that could derail her game.
“If she can hold it together while she’s head chef this week, I think she’ll win,” she said.
“She plans everything out because we were starving in that house. There wasn’t much food, and she’s very organised.”

“But if someone accidentally comes in and helps themselves to an ingredient she’s planned for a meal, she could get fired up. If she loses her temper over food, that could work against her.
“Otherwise, Charity for the win — and Charity deserves to win.”
Big Brother airs 7:30pm weeknights and 7pm Sundays on 10, with the live stream available via 10 Play.
