Big Brother Australia is back for 2026, bringing a fresh crew of housemates, some seriously hectic clashes and plenty of drama to Aussie screens.

Returning to Network 10 on October 26, the reality series is once again hosted by television and radio personality Mel Tracina, who took over the reins in 2025.

This year’s season has undergone a major location change, moving from Dreamworld on the Gold Coast to a purpose-built house at Screen Queensland Studios in Hemmant, Brisbane. The new home features 80 cameras, with viewers able to watch the drama unfold through a 24/7 livestream.

Among the most talked-about contestants is 23-year-old entrepreneur Ebony, whose self-proclaimed princess attitude and clashes with fellow housemates have divided viewers. Then there’s 25-year-old English and Drama teacher, Kyrah, who has brought plenty of chaotic energy to the house. Along with the quirky Anita, a 47-year-old Tasmanian travel advisor who is the sister of two-time Big Brother winner Reggie Sorensen.

With live nominations, public voting and a $100,000 prize up for grabs, the housemates must navigate friendships, romance and unexpected twists to win. Tensions are already boiling over, so who has been evicted from Big Brother so far?

Harmon

Outspoken Queensland IT salesman Harmon quickly established himself as the house troublemaker, becoming the first contestant evicted on November 1.

The 29-year-old entered the house promising to stir the pot, and wasted little time causing trouble with his brash opinions and chaotic vibe. His behaviour earned him a staggering 22 nomination points, double the 11 points received by fellow nominees Ebony and Kyrah.

Among his biggest controversies was hiding the housemates’ coffee and salt supplies. He also accused his housemates of being cowardly for nominating him behind his back rather than confronting him directly.

During the eviction, Australia voted to save Ebony and Kyrah — sending Harmon packing.

Speaking to host Mel Tracina, Harmon described his experience as “turbulent”, defending his controversial antics by arguing that his housemates had become too comfortable. However, Harmon wasn’t finished stirring up drama, using his final power to appoint controversial contestant Ebony as the next Head of House.

In an interview with Chattr, Harmon praised Ebony for her divisive antics in the house. “I actually really enjoy talking to Ebony. Ebony is a very interesting and wonderful character. And I say character because she’s got like a few different characters,” he said.

“I hope she lasts further in the show because I actually reckon there’s more to her that I didn’t get to understand.”

Big Brother airs 7:30pm weeknights and 7pm Sundays on 10, with the live stream available via 10 Play.
