Big Brother Australia 2026 Pam on Kieran and eviction
  • Pam became the second housemate evicted from Big Brother Australia 2026.

  • A game of pass the parcel revealed Pam received the fewest votes to save.

  • Pam denied rumours she left due to a medical emergency, insisting she was perfectly healthy.

  • Her son, former Big Brother contestant Kieran Davidson, advised her to be herself in the house.

Big Brother Australia 2026 delivered a shock eviction on Wednesday night, with 62-year-old teacher Pam becoming the second housemate sent home in less than a week. Savage!

The drama unfolded after Big Brother introduced a mysterious red button, rewarding contestants with surprises including ice cream, a video call from home and a birthday party for Pheobe.

However, the fun quickly turned grim when a game of pass the parcel revealed that Pam had received the fewest votes to save among seven nominated housemates. Bye bye, Pam!

She was the season’s oldest housemate and soon became the house’s peacekeeper, as she frequently attempted to mediate arguments and scolded some of the younger housemates’ antics — including Kyrah and Ebony for their never-ending feud.

In an exclusive interview with Chattr, Pam said that despite her fellow nominees being involved in some nasty arguments, she didn’t believe anyone else deserved to go over her. “You can’t really say that someone else ‘deserved’ to go when it’s your time’s up. Look, the votes are in. It’s your time,” she said.

“There were seven of us originally up. Everybody has their own faults and foibles, but it was my time obviously to go.”

Pam revealed her son Kieran Davidson, who competed on Big Brother in 2020, told her there was an online rumour on TikTok claiming that his mum had voluntarily left the house after having a medical emergency.

“There was some rumour going around that I had to be medevacked out of the place. That is totally untrue. I was perfectly healthy,” she said.

“No medical issues happened with me the whole time. I was in there fighting the fight, and the only thing I did was take my blood pressure tablet every morning,” Pam continued.

She suspects that Harmon’s goodbye message taking aim at her age could have led to the rumour. “Totally fabricated… they weren’t expecting such a quick eviction, and perhaps with the ageist comment from Harmon, people thought, ‘Oh yes, she is old’ so perhaps something went wrong medically, and so I had to be taken to the hospital. None of that was true at all.”

Pam reveals the advice son Kieran gave her for Big Brother

Before entering the house, Pam admits that her son, Kieran, offered her some interesting advice from his time on the show in 2020 — albeit when he copped the most nominations out of any other housemate.

“He started saying, ‘Don’t talk too much, Mum. Don’t walk around the house aimlessly’,” she said. When pressed to explain what this meant exactly, Pam clarified: “It sort of puts a target on your back. It annoys people if you’re constantly walking around.” Alrighty!

On a more earnest note, Kieran offered some sage advice as they bid goodbye at the airport. “He grabbed me by both arms and he said, ‘Mum, just be your normal self’. And that was the one thing that I took away from it. I sort of forgot all those other things he said because you can’t play someone else’s game of how they were. I always was going to go in and be my normal self anyway.”

Even though Pam had a bit of insider info from her son’s experience, she never hid her BB connection from her housemates.

“I was open and upfront about Kieran,” Pam admitted.

“I’m Kieran’s mum and I said, ‘But he played his game. I’m playing my own game’… I have not hidden that at all because I think if you’re going to be in the house, you have to be fully transparent with people because if you lie, someone’s going to come and get you. It’s going to be found out. It might not be today, it might not be tomorrow, it might be next week — but someone is going to find out that you lied.”

Big Brother airs 7:30pm weeknights and 7pm Sundays on 10, with the live stream available via 10 Play.
