MAFS groom Tristan Black is ready to restore viewers’ faith in love, which may have dwindled after watching the drama between couples in previous seasons.

The Married at First Sight groom isn’t joining the show to gain a few extra followers, but, instead, in search of genuine true love.

According to his Channel Nine bio, the Event Manager from Manly is confident, funny and adventurous but struggles to ” get himself out of the friend zone”.

The bio said that Tristan is unsure whether he picks the wrong type of woman, or is self sabotaging, but he hopes to change that when he gets married in MAFS 2024.

Tristan is close with his mum and calls her his “hero, queen, and biggest supporter”.

Tristan has had relationships that have ended badly in the past, so he’s nervous to date again but feels ready to give it a try. He told Channel Nine that he doesn’t have a big checklist when it comes to dating and that he “simply wants to be loved”.
