Filming of And Just Like That Season 3 is well underway and on-set photos of the cast attending a funeral have fans in a chokehold.

The pics show Carrie, Charlotte, Harry, Anthony and Miranda dressed in black at a funeral. Noticeably missing from the pap pics is Miranda’s ex-husband Steve, which is…concerning.

“Where. The F*CK. Is Steve. EVERYONE IS IN THAT PICTURE BUT STEVE,” one Reddit user wrote.

With fans racking their brains trying to figure out who the funeral could be for, Steve isn’t the only name in the mix.

It’s been confirmed that Miranda’s other ex Che won’t be returning for Season 3, so there’s a possibility the funeral could be for her.

Of course, Sex and The City fans have begged for Samantha Jones’s return since And Just Like That (AJLT) was originally released. While she had a brief cameo in the Season 2 finale she’s ruled out the possibility of a Season 3 return.

This unfortunate development has us begging and pleading that the AJLT cast isn’t attending Samantha’s funeral.

While we don’t know whose funeral the AJLT cast is attending, here’s everything we do know about the upcoming season.

When will Just Like That Season 3 air?

And Just Like That Season 3 doesn’t have an air date yet, but it’s not expected to be released until 2025.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker, Karen Pittman and John Corbett will all be back for Season 3.

However, there will be a few faces that will not return. Sara Ramirez who played Che Diaz, and Karen Pittman who played Nya Wallace won’t be in the new season.

What is And Just Like That about?

The series, from executive producer Michael Patrick King, follows Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.

What happened in And Just Like That Season 2?

• Following the real-life death of star Willie Garson, his character Stanford’s absence was explained. He became a Monk!
• Carrie and Aidan reunited although it looks as though their relo is already doomed following a blissful union.
• Che just existed to annoy the crap out of all of us….and have a failed career. Not to mention, her SAVAGE takedown of Miranda in her latest comedy set.
• Charlotte became a stage parent to Rock (Alexa Skye Swinton) and Lily (Cathy Ang) and Miranda’s son Brady (Niall Cunningham) had sex!
• Miranda got dumped twice after trying to make her life with Brady and Che work.

And Just Like That season three will premiere on Binge in 2024.
