Your internet boyfie Paul Mescal is starring in a new Prime Video movie and things are about to get hot (and complicated) in here!

Starring in Foe alongside Soirse Ronan (Brooklyn, Little Women), the flick is a haunting exploration of marriage and identity set in an uncertain world.

Official Synopsis

Hen and Junior farm a secluded piece of land that has been in Junior’s family for generations, but their quiet life is thrown into turmoil when an uninvited stranger (Aaron Pierre) shows up at their door with a startling proposal.

It contains mesmerising imagery and shares persistent questions about the nature of humanity (and artificial humanity) bringing the not-too-distant future to luminous life. 

Foe is based on a book

Foe is based on best-selling Canadian author Iain Reid’s novel which has been described as a psychological thriller and horror fiction against a science fiction backdrop.

Set in the near future, the book is narrated by Junior, who lives with his wife Henrietta (Hen) on a remote farm. One night a stranger appears at their door who introduces himself as Terrance from an aerospace corporation called OuterMore. 

The movie was directed by Garth Davis, and co-written by Davis and Reid.
