The trailer for Prince Harry’s long-awaited docuseries Heart of Invictus has been released.
The instalment is part of Harry and Meghan Markle’s multi-million dollar deal with Netflix and focuses on the Invictus Games, which are an international multi-sport event for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women, founded by Prince Harry.
The series will follow the human stories behind the games, and give a look into their inspiring backgrounds.
“Our Invictus Games community represents some of the bravest and most dedicated individuals from 23 nations across the globe.” Prince Harry said in a statement about the new project.
“Heart of Invictus is the incredible story of competitors brought together through service who are now united through sport.
“While in various stages of recovery from both visible and invisible injuries, these competitors and their loved ones give a compelling look at their journey to the Invictus Games, in a way that commands admiration and respect.”
When does Heart of Invictus air?
The five-part series will be released on Netflix on August 30.

Did Prince Harry start the Invictus Games?
Yes, Prince Harry is the founder of the Invictus Games, and the event came to fruition after he took a trip to the Warrior Games in the USA in 2013.
“Since the very first Invictus Games back in 2014, we knew that each competitor would contribute in their own exceptional way to a mosaic of resilience, determination, and resolve,” Prince Harry also said.
“This series will give communities around the world a window into the moving and uplifting stories of these competitors on their path to the Netherlands next year.
