Some of the MAFS cast are in big trouble for breaching their contracts

Will they be shunned from the Logies as punishment?

We’re currently in a limbo period where Married At First Sight has finished filming, but the cast are still under contract and have some pretty strict rules in place.

Those rules generally involve the cast not speaking to the media unless the interviews are approved by Channel Nine, and not posting freely on social media.

Of course, being the rebellious brides and grooms that the 2023 MAFS class was, many of them have gone rogue and broken these rules.

A source told Daily Mail Australia that Nine is planning to make an example out of the naughty ones.

“This year, the production team has decided to tighten the leash and are not shying away from making an example out of the rule-breakers,” the insider said.

“A stark reminder has been sent out, underlining the gravity of the legally binding agreements everyone has committed to.”

What will happen to the contestants who’ve breached their contracts?

According to Daily Mail Australia, the rule-breakers haven’t been threatened with legal action just yet, but it’s not off the table.

Apparently, they’ve been “gently reminded” of this by production, should they continue to breach their agreement.

Plus, every year Channel Nine selects a handful of contestants to be invited to Logie Awards, and those who haven’t been playing ball may be left off the list.

Who’s breached their contracts?

Perhaps the question should be who hasn’t broken their contracts, because most of the cast has thrown caution to the wind.

MAFS besties Sara Mesa and Lauren Dunn have got absolutely rogue on TikTok, with both brides uploading a lot of videos on TikTok.

Meanwhile, Andrea Thompson, Timothy Smith, Lucinda Light, Ellie Dix, Jonathan McCullough and some other contestants have share content on socials of them meeting up.

On top of that, Eden shared a few photos on Instagram, while Tristan published TikTok videos with Sara when they went to Darwin for a promotional appearance that wasn’t officially connected to MAFS.

Interestingly, it’s only really Tori Adams, Jack Dunkley, Tim Calwell and Jayden Eynaud who haven’t violated their contracts.

The cast is expected to get full access to their social media accounts back next month.
