It looks like Willow Smith has found herself a new Aussie bae after she was spotted on Bronte Beach in Sydney alongside Aussie singer/songwriter Eddie Benjamin.
The pics, which were obtained by Media-Mode (and distributed by News.com.au) show the pair frolicking in the sand and basically, they look cute AF.
On October 29, Eddie took to Instagram to show appreciation for one of his “fave humans”.
“Something really special coming from a special soul. pure expression from one of my fave humans. her love for music is beyond bright 🗣️🗣️ [sic],” he penned alongside a carousel of images and clips.
But who is Eddie Benjamin? The musician who has seemingly won Willow’s heart?
Who is Eddie Benjamin?
Born in Bondi, Sydney, 21-year-old Eddie has collaborated with the likes of Sia, Meghan Trainor and Justin Bieber.
In 2021, he revealed to Euphoria Magazine that his father was a drummer and he grew up surrounded by music.
By the time he was a teenager (which he still practically is), he had already learned to play a variety of instruments, including piano, guitar and bass.
“My parents played a huge role in my artistic upbringing. They never pushed me to do anything and really gave me freedom,” he said in an interview with Wonderland for his December 2020 cover story.
Once in High School, Eddie formed the band Haze Trio, winning competitions around Australia before his big break came when he was just 16 years old.
At this time, he began producing music for Meghan Trainor, Ryan Tedder, Labrinth and Earth, Wind & Fire. Unbelievable!
Just before the COVID-19 pandemic, he moved to LA where he met Justin Bieber (who became his mentor) and Sia.

Willow is not the first high-profile celeb to catch the attention of Eddie. In fact, Sia — who is a close friend — introduced him to Dance Moms star Maddie Ziegler who was cast in the music clip Chandelier at the age of 11.
“I feel very excited every day that I get to date him,” Ziegler said in an interview with People in January 2022. “We have such a good time together and we were best friends for a really long time before we dated. It’s like I’m just hanging out with my best friend every day. It’s really fun. It’s honestly the best. I love it.”
In February 2023, Maddie and Eddie split after more than three years together.
