Audrey and Nick Spitz are back, and this time, it’s deux or die in Netflix’s Murder Mystery 2.
Powerhouse leads Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston have returned for the second film, following on from Murder Mystery — the streaming platform’s surprise hit of 2019.
Directed by Jeremy Garelick (The Break-Up), the second film has been written by James Vanderbilt, who also wrote the first one, so there’s no concern that it will live up to expectations!

The official synopsis reads: “Four years after solving their first murder mystery, Nick and Audrey Spitz (Sandler and Aniston) are now full-time detectives struggling to get their private eye agency off the ground when they’re invited to celebrate the wedding of their friend the Maharaja (Adeel Akhtar) on his private island.
“But trouble follows the Spitzes again when the groom is kidnapped for ransom soon after the festivities begin — making each glamorous guest, family member, and the bride herself a suspect.
“Murder Mystery 2 sends Nick and Audrey Spitz on a high-stakes case that finally gives them everything they’ve ever dreamed of: a shot at their detective agency finally becoming successful…and their long-awaited trip to Paris.”

The second instalment of the film’s franchise will be released globally on Netflix on March 31, 2023.

Where was the second movie filmed?
To get you even more excited for this next movie, the filming took place in both Paris and Hawaii, wrapping in April 2022.
