triple j’s Hottest 100 2023 is comin’ atcha and it’s high time to save the date! With voting commencing in December and the official countdown taking place in January 2024, let’s see who will dethrone Flume!

Celebrating its 30th birthday, the countdown is the radio frequency’s annual poll of your favourite songs. And so you don’t miss one thing, here are all the dates you need to know.

Voting

Voting opens on December 12 at 8.00 am AEDT and you’ll be able to place ’em here.

Here, you will be able to pick out your fave songs of the year, submit your votes and join millions of people from across the country in creating a summer playlist for the ages.

When is the triple j Hottest 100 2023?

Look, we know we said it was 2023’s countdown, but like every single year, the actual countdown takes place in January the following year.

In 2024, the Hottest 100 will take place on January 27 as voted by you.

triple J’s Hottest 200 2023

If you’re having a hectic BBQ on Saturday, you’ll be desperate for a Sunday recovery sesh with the Hottest 200 (200 – 101) on January 28.

Double J

Finally, on Sunday, February 3, you can lean into your Y2K era with Double J which will take it back 20 years with the Hottest 100 2003.
