Congratulations are in order for MAFS 2018 star Carly Bowyer, who got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Neil Goldsmith.

On New Year’s Day Carly shared a photo of Neil on one knee proposing, with their three-year-old son Bailey looking on.

Carly and Neil have been together since 2019 and welcomed Bailey in December 2020.

Carly’s MAFS co-stars sent their well wishes

Carly’s Instagram comment section was lit up with congratulatory messages from her former MAFS co-stars.

“Congratulations! So happy for you!” Tracey Jewel penned.

“Wooohoooooo!!!!!!! Huge congratulations @carlybowyer and Neil. So so happy for you,” Melissa Walsh wrote.

Cam Merchant and Jesse Konstantinoff also congratulated the couple.

Who was Carly paired with on MAFS?

Carly got ‘married’ on season five of MAFS to entrepreneur Justin Fischer. While the couple split before the Final Vows ceremony, it was her post-show romance that had tongues wagging.

Shortly after the season aired, photos were leaked of Carly kissing fellow groom Troy. Troy was paired with Ashley on the show, and the two were one of the most memorable couples of the season.

“Physically, Troy is my type. I do go for that preppy, private school-looking guy and Justin and I had a conversation about that,” she told TV WEEK at the time.

“We definitely bonded at the dinner parties, we seemed to be the ones in the relationships putting in a lot more than we were getting. I think we both sympathised with each other a lot more about that.”

The pair continued to date after the reunion was aired, but broke up nine months later.
