MAFS' Juliette reveals unseen Joel moment viewers missed: 'Red flag'

Joel, no!!!
MAFS 2026 juliette and joel unseen moment

Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2026 intruder bride Juliette Chae Fava has mostly stayed quiet about her experience on the show, but in an interview with Chattr, she shared some behind-the-scenes moments that never quite made it to air. In particular, Juliette thinks the men from MAFS 2026 were “protected” by the edit, and she clocked it right away while watching her wedding to Joel Moses.

“There’s a lot of stuff that went down that [was] cut out from the men’s side,” Juliette reveals. “In Joel’s speech, he said ‘night clubs are a cesspool of low quality women’, and that was actually in his vows. And when he said that, you see me turn around and look at my friends, but they’ve completely sliced it and made it look like I was turning around for something else he was saying.”

The bride says this felt like a “red flag”, because ranking women as “low quality” or “high quality” based on what activities they enjoy is an ick.

“I was pretty shocked [by] that bit honestly… that was a bit icky for me, just right off the bat. But again, they didn’t put that in [the edit].”

Juliette went on to claim that Joel also spoke poorly about Gia’s appearance in an “absolutely foul” way, but that also wasn’t included. Spicy!

The bride hopes that fans will start to understand who each participant really is now that the show is over, and they all have control of their own social media accounts.

She refuses to reveal who is the “fakest” out of the cast, and says she’s moving on. “I think spreading more hate like that [would be unwise]. I’ve been on the receiving end of other cast mates just putting that stuff on me and on some of my other friends on the show. So that’s why I’m like, I just don’t really want to add more fuel to the fire.”

We love it when people take the high road!

Has Juliette seen what Joel has been saying about her online?

On Reddit, Joel has been busy in the MAFS subreddit, describing his ex-wife as “pure evil” and saying she “stinks to high heavens”.

Juliette says she was “shocked by it”, but knew there was a hidden side to Joel that wasn’t aired on MAFS.

“The way he’s gone about me online is how I heard him talk about some of the other female cast members on the show,” the bride says. “He escaped the show pretty well. But then the way he’s gone about it online is just yeah, true colours are showing.”

While she finds his comments “hurtful”, she’s blocked him on all social media platforms. Still, when these narratives go around online, it can take a toll.

“It just feels like the wound is [getting reopened] and it’s getting to a sad point. I do hope he finds peace, and yeah, peace and love,” Juliette notes.

“I feel like we’ve all copped so much, I wouldn’t want to be inflicting any more pain on anyone else.”
