Stan’s MAFS: After The Reunion has shocked fans by airing previously unseen footage of Danny Hewitt on a tirade about how he could “roll up to Coles” and find someone “better than Bec,” referring to his Married At First Sight (MAFS) wife, Bec Zacharia.
“You’re telling me that’s the best you could bring me? You ought to be ashamed of yourself, MAFS dude,” the Real Estate Agent begins, presumably talking to a producer. “I can f**king walk in Coles and get a better bird than that, f**k me,” he continued.
“I gave up my life to be here, I’ve got a f**king cushy little life,” he continues, “I gave up my life, and I could roll up to Coles right now, aisle four, and there’s a bird in there — she’ll be better than Bec. Can’t be no worse, it’s impossible.”
The 34-year-old, who has been known to call Bec “vulgar”, then continued firing off expletives. “F**k me. S**t, so s**t. To the execs watching this, you’re f**king shit at your job. Bring me better women,” he declared.
Throughout the video, a ton of equipment and staff can be seen circling around the 34-year-old Brit, suggesting his rant was offhand and never intended to be included in any official footage. Disturbingly, as a tearful Bec responded to the footage on MAFS: After The Reunion, she revealed that Danny said he was falling in love with her the same day.
MAFS fans react to Danny’s ‘Coles’ comments
Fans have expressed disgust at Danny’s comments, with many stating that the show gave him a favourable edit. “Bec truly deserves so much better,” said one fan in a FB group. “I can’t believe Danny would treat her that way… it’s honestly so disappointing.” Over on Reddit, a fan said: Christ, they had all of that on the cutting room floor? How was all of that allowed to go on and how was Danny able to get away with so much?”
Others expressed frustration that the footage wasn’t included as part of the main broadcast. “Why was it only shown on the Stan aubscription program? There’s little point watching MAFS now. A lot of spoilers during the season, a lot of revelations on a pay TV show. And abusive cast members.”
Danny is also caught referring to Stephanie as a “skank”
If that wasn’t enough, the show also reveals footage of former bride Stephanie Marshall asking Danny if he wanted to have a chat, to which he tells her “nah, f**k that. To be honest, I can’t be f**ked with ya… nah, I don’t want to speak to ya, please.”
After Steph says “OK”, he continues, “f**k off, with all due respect,” and can later be heard calling her a “f**king little skank.” Watch the exchange below, if you dare.
