Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2026 bride Bec Zacharia and groom Luke Fourniotis didn’t have the best time on the show. Neither participant was matched with a partner who liked them, so it makes sense that sparks flew between the two newly-single stars.
In a recent interview with Chattr, Bec admitted she wished the experts had originally matched her with Luke. “Farmer Luke is just the most beautiful human ever. He was one of my closest friends in the experiment from the moment we met. And he’s hot!” she exclaimed.
Both Luke and Bec attended Gia Fleur’s birthday party earlier this year, and according to a source, the bride had big plans for her reunion with the groom.
“Bec was super keen to get with Luke and was telling everyone that was going to Gia’s birthday that she was going to get with him,” the insider spills.
“At the party, they both disappeared for a while.”

In a recent interview with Daily Mail, bride Rebecca Zukowski confirmed there was a little something going on between Bec and Luke. “A bride and groom who were not matched played tongue hockey. Do you want to know who it is? Bec and Farmer Luke,” Rebecca claimed.
Previously, Gia also added fuel to the fire when she jumped into the comments on a TikTok shared from her birthday party. This year’s “villain” said that Bec was “chasing” Luke, which matches up with the account from our source.
Who else did Bec want to be matched with on MAFS?
Bec was open about who her top three picks for different MAFS grooms would be: Sam Stanton, Filip Gregov and Luke. But only in a fantasy-type of way!
“I’d say Sammy Stanton, but unfortunately, he’s gay and never, ever turning, but Sammy would be my ultimate,” she spilled.
“[Also], Farmer Luke mixed with a bit of Fil[ip], I think.”
However, Bec is so pleased with how solid Filip and his soon-to-be wife Stella Mickunaite’s relationship is. “Filip and Stella are such genuine, incredible human beings,” Bec said. “It’s just such a true love. And you know, even though the rest of us didn’t make it, we are all so genuinely happy for Stella and Fil.”
It’s nice that (most of) the MAFS 2026 cast have stayed friends, with many showing up for each other during the tough times this year.
