Home and Away fans have been sent into a downright tizzy after it was revealed that the beloved Aussie soap received zero nominations for the upcoming 2026 Logie Awards.
The full list of nominees for the glitzy awards show was revealed this week, with neither Home and Away nor any of its stars landing a nod ahead of the ceremony airing in August.

Naturally, the seeming snub from Aussie TV’s biggest night prompted diehard Home and Away fans to share their frustrations, with many taking to the show’s official Facebook gossip page to slam the “sad” and “very disappointing” lack of nominations from the awards body.
Fans say Home and Away’s Logies snub is “ridiculous”
“Maybe they grew tired of Home and Away’s continual success,” one fan wrote, while others quipped they “won’t be voting if Home and Away isn’t there” or said they were “very disappointed that Home and Away isn’t nominated this year or any of the actors.”
“How come Home and Away or its cast aren’t anywhere in the Logies categories?” another user wrote.

A bunch of fans thought the snub in the Best Drama Program category was particularly glaring, since the most recent season of Home and Away featured a bunch of explosive storylines including staple character Irene Roberts’ (played by Jacqy Phillips) exit from the show after a whopping 33 years in Summer Bay.
In lieu of Home and Away, the Best Drama category nominees included Heartbreak High, RFDS, Dear Life and Watching You, among others.
Elsewhere, fans assumed that Home and Away would at least get a shoutout in the Most Popular New Talent category given that a bunch of newcomers joined the soap’s cast including Sophea Pennington, Tristan Gorey and Ryan Brown.
“The Logies used to be about celebrating Australian actors but it’s mostly all presenters, reality TV or TV personalities now,” one fan wrote.

Others chalked the Home and Away snub up to the recent overhaul in the Logie nominations process, which in recent years has minimised the input of the public to balance it out with an independent judging panel.
“It needs to go back to the viewers’ choices of who we would like to see nominated,” one Facebook user wrote. “After all, it’s us that make the shows and actors popular.”
Thankfully, those invested in Home and Away can still find some wins in the list of 2026 Logies nominees, since castmates Philippa Northeast and Stephen Peacocke are nominated… albeit for different shows.
Philippa scored a nomination for The Family Next Door, while Stephen is in the running for his role in RFDS.

The ceremony’s biggest category, the Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality, includes nominees Ally Langdon, Julia Morris, Lisa Millar, Poh Ling Yeow, Sam Pang, Todd Woodbridge and Robert Irwin, the last of whom is also hosting this year’s event.
The 2026 Logie Awards will be broadcast live on Channel 7 and streamed on 7plus on August 16.
