Netflix sure loves putting Millie Bobby Brown through her paces and this time, she’s taking on a dragon in the brand-new film, Damsel.

While fairytales are pretty “Grimm” (wink, wink), this ain’t your normal folk tale as Millie stars as Elodie, a princess who finds herself in an arranged marriage before being sacrificed by the family she marries. Lol. What?!

Official Synopsis

According to Netflix, Damsel follows a dutiful damsel (Millie Bobby Brown) who agrees to marry a handsome prince, only to find that the royal family has recruited her as a sacrifice to repay an ancient debt. Thrown into a cave with a fire-breathing dragon, she must rely on her wits and will to survive.

Damsel will be avail to stream exclusively on Netflix from March 8.

Who is in the cast?

Accompanying Millie are Ray Winstone, Nick Robinson, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Brooke Carter, Angela Bassett and Robin Wright.

Is there a trailer?

You bet! On Wednesday, February 14, Netflix released a brand-new trailer for the flick. And to give you an idea of what we’re to expect, Angela who plays Lady Bayford, isn’t so trusting of Elodie’s new fam-bam!

“They may be royalty, but that doesn’t make them good people,” she says.

This, coupled with the fact that her prince chucks her off a cliff after their wedding, I think it’s safe to say, we’re in for a wild ride!
