It’s a superstar line-up of judges for The Voice Australia 2023!

On March 19, Seven announced that a MEGA STAR was joining the judging panel — Jason Derulo! And if you didn’t sing his name the way he would, are you really a fan?!

Derulo will join existing judges Jessica Mauboy, Rita Ora and Guy Sebastian, with the Talk Dirty singer replacing country singer Keith Urban.

Host Sonia Kruger is also set to return to The Voice stage.

“I’ve always loved The Voice and Australia happens to be one of my favourite places in the world,” Derulo said in a statement. “I can’t wait to hear all the amazing talent down under!”

Seven’s Chief Content Officer, Entertainment Programming, Angus Ross, said: “Jason is a sensational addition to our line-up of superstar coaches Jess, Rita and Guy, and we can’t wait to see who they turn their iconic red chairs for this season.”

While millennials know 33-year-old Derulo for his chart-topping hits such as Talk Dirty, Ridin’ Solo, Whatcha Say, Take You Dancing and Savage Love, he’s most recently had a resurgence on TikTok, with 57 million followers!

He has also sold more than 250 million singles worldwide and has teased that a fifth studio album is on the way. His first in eight years.

The Voice was one of Australia’s most-watched entertainment shows in 2022, with 1.39 million viewers nationally!

The Voice Australia 2023 will premieres later this year on Channel 7 and 7plus.
