The Logie Awards 2023: Full list of nominations

The awards ceremony will have a host for the first time in 11 years.

The harbour side city of Sydney will welcome back The Logie Awards in 2023 for the first time in 27 years.

The event will be broadcast by Channel 7 and will be held at The Star Sydney on July 30. It will see nominees including Hamish Blake, Celeste Barber, and Amy Shark among the attendees.

“We are thrilled to see such a fantastic list of nominees for this year’s TV WEEK Logie Awards. Congratulations to the incredibly talented, passionate people up for Logies. We can’t wait to find out the winners on July 30, in Sydney,” TV WEEK Editorial Director Amber Giles said.

Who’s hosting The Logie Awards 2023?

Australian comedian Sam Pang will be hosting the awards, marking the first time the event has had a host in 11 years. Pang is the co-host of the Seven Network AFL panel show The Front Bar and a regular panellist on the Network 10 comedy quiz show Have You Been Paying Attention?.

Sam Pang. Seven.

Pang made a surprise appearance at last year’s The Logie Awards when he went on stage to accept the Most Popular Actress award on behalf of his friend Kitty Flanagan, who wasn’t able to attend.

“It’s a huge honour to be asked to host the Logies and while it will be weird not having a buzzer or beer in front of me, hopefully I’m up to the challenge,” the Have You Been Paying Attention? star said.

“I feel very lucky to be a part of this industry and can’t wait for July 30 in Sydney to celebrate Australian television on its night of nights and guide viewers at home through the entire four-hour broadcast.”

How can I vote?

You can vote here.

Voting will open from 9.00am on June 19 and remain open until the end of the red carpet telecast on July 30 July at 7.30pm. The TV WEEK Gold Logie Award will stay open slightly longer, with voting closing at 10.30 pm.
