La dolce vita couple, Tiffany and Giancarlo, stormed to the top of the My Kitchen Rules 2026 leaderboard with an impressive Italian feast.
The couple scored 86 out of 110 at their Instant Restaurant, Ciao Bella Ciao. Their Parmigiana di Melanzane was the standout, earning the season’s first perfect 10 from judge Colin Fassnidge.
The couple received glowing scores from almost every competing team. Krysten and Lucy gave them a nine, while Mary and Golden, Angus and Simon, and Jane and Shane each awarded an eight.
However, Alisha and Deanne scored them just six out of 10 — noticeably lower than everyone else.
Deanne found a rabbit bone in her pasta, which could have influenced her judging, but was there more to this score? Chattr spoke to Tiffany, who pointed at the women’s ‘hypocrisy’ by seemingly scoring based on the couple’s personalities rather than what they served on their plates.

“We said from the very beginning, we were always going to let the food do the talking. It doesn’t matter if you get along or not,” Tiffany said.
“We’re not going to be judging on personalities or anything. They [Alisha and Deanne] said they would do the same after I made that comment, and then they absolutely did not. But look, to be honest, are we surprised? No.”
In an interview with Chattr, Deanne admitted the low score was “a little bit of payback” as they believed Tiffany and Giancarlo had graded them unfairly at their Instant Restaurant. Alisha agreed that revenge played a part in their low score. “Our group scoring and stuff, it seemed like it was more about personality… so I think it might have been a little bit of a bitchy move,” she said.
However, Giancarlo maintains they didn’t score Deanne and Alisha based on their personalities.
“To be fair, you need to be scoring based on the food, right?” Giancarlo said.
“Honestly, the scores we gave them, personally they were quite generous. It was overcooked and raw and super garlicky in our experience anyway… I think we’re being quite fair. People are going to react in a certain way, and that’s up to them.”
Tiffany shares how the feud began with Alisha and Deanne on My Kitchen Rules
Tiffany told Chattr she believed that their bad scores from the two friends were rooted in a feud that began right from the first episode.
“I think from the very first Instant Restaurant with Krysten and Lucy, when everyone was asked around the table who they thought was going to go first, and we had to pick someone, and unfortunately we did pick the girls. It’s not nice. I know it wouldn’t feel nice, and we did feel terrible, but we had to answer,” Tiffany recalled.
“From that point, it just went downhill, and we weren’t able to sort of speak between episodes or reconcile or explain ourselves. I felt like it just got nasty from there. And on that second night, from the very moment that we sat down at the table, the girls just had it out for us.”
My Kitchen Rules airs on Channel 7 and 7Plus.
