Filming My Kitchen Rules (MKR) 2026 might be over, but some of the friendships formed during the competition are clearly still going strong.
While not every team managed to find their people during the cooking competition, Krysten and Lucy have revealed that there’s one team of gatecrashers they’ve stayed particularly close to since cameras stopped rolling.
Speaking exclusively to Chattr, the duo opened up about which contestants they bonded with behind the scenes, admitting that their friendships with the gatecrashers were a little hit and miss.
“We bonded with some [teams], but definitely not all of them,” Lucy revealed.
When asked which teams they’d kept in touch with, the pair didn’t hesitate to name Harrison and Oliver.

“Oliver and Harrison for sure, and that’s probably it out of the gatecrashers,” Lucy said.
And it sounds like their connection has extended well beyond the MKR kitchen, with the four mates making an effort to catch up whenever they can.
“We’ve hung out since filming, in Sydney, and whenever we’re in each other’s states, we’re going to catch up,” they added.
It seems these four have managed to turn a reality TV cooking competition into a friendship that will last long after the final plates have been served!
Who are My Kitchen Rules gatecrashers Harrison and Oliver?
Harrison, 30, and Oliver, 28, are two mates from NSW whose friendship began with a chance encounter at their local brewery around six years ago.
The pair quickly discovered they had plenty in common, bonding over their shared love of food, craft beer, fashion and music.
When it comes to cooking, the duo bring two very different but complementary approaches to the kitchen. Harrison, who works as a bar manager, is all about hearty meals, slow-cooked favourites and finding the perfect beer to go alongside his dishes.

Meanwhile, Oliver takes inspiration from his Italian heritage, with homemade pasta and rich, flavour-packed recipes among his specialities.
Describing themselves as “two mad scientists” when they’re cooking together, the pair certainly aren’t ones to shy away from a little experimentation.
With Harrison’s quick wit and Oliver’s eye-catching fashion sense, these gatecrashers are also bringing plenty of personality to the competition.
My Kitchen Rules airs on Channel 7 and 7Plus.
