Following the news that I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! had been axed by Channel 10 earlier this year, it’s now been confirmed the popular reality show will return on Channel Seven in 2027.

The network confirmed the news on July 15, unveiling a teaser that closely echoes the branding of the Channel 10 seasons — hinting that fans can expect a return to the familiar format they’ve loved for years.

“I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! is one of the world’s most recognisable entertainment formats and we’re incredibly excited to welcome it to Seven in 2027,” said Angus Ross, Southern Cross Media Group’s Managing Director of Television and Streaming.

“This is a proven franchise with a passionate fan base and we look forward to bringing our own fresh energy and ambition to its next chapter.”

The series will continue to be produced by ITV, hence the similar branding, and ITV Studios Australia CEO and Managing Director David Mott teased that viewers can expect some new twists and turns in the upcoming season.

“For over ten years, Australian audiences have loved this iconic show, and with terrifying trials, hilarious camp drama and heartfelt celebrity revelations, ITV Studios Australia is ready to deliver a brand-new era for the Jungle.”

Will Robert Irwin and Julia Morris host I’m a Celebrity on Channel Seven?

One of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!‘s biggest drawcards are hosts Robert Irwin and Julia Morris, whose chemistry has made them audience favourites and earned both Gold Logie nominations.

So, will the pair be returning to the show on Network Seven? For now, the network has yet to confirm who will host the new season, but neither Julia nor Robert has been ruled out.

In an interview with TV WEEK earlier this year, Julia expressed her interest in continuing to host the show if it was picked up by another network.

“I rang [Robert] when it all went down and said: ‘I know you don’t need it but, if the show went somewhere else with someone different, I’m aware I’m not everyone’s cup of tea. Your message [of conservation] is more important than my ego, so, please, go forth,” she told the publication.

However, she revealed that Robert told her he wouldn’t host the show without her.

We’ve got our fingers crossed for a return from Robert and Julia for I’m a Celebrity in 2027!
