Below Deck’s Aesha Scott and Netflix star, Harry Jowsey, are swapping reality TV stories, and they’ve spilled some spicy claims about The Amazing Race Australia.
Aesha competed on The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition in 2025, with her fiancé Scott Dobson, with the couple placing third. Harry competed in 2023 with his best mate and Love Island star, Teddy Briggs, where the pals placed fourth.
In an interview on Harry’s podcast, Boyfriend Material, they both alleged that the show was “rigged” when they competed.
“I did The Amazing Race, too,” Harry told Aesha. “I think it’s so f*cking rigged.” To this, Aesha eagerly replied “It’s so rigged!” before quickly checking herself, adding “I’m not allowed to say anything like that…”
She didn’t state it, but one would assume she’s still under contract with Channel Ten, as her The Amazing Race season aired less than a year ago.
“Well, I think I’m out of contract,” Harry replied before elaborating on his spicy claim.

Harry suggested the tasks are not what they seem. “You’d be with the expert and then you’d do your thing and you’d present it. Then they’d look at the producer and the producer goes ‘No’,” he said. “But then you’d go back and not change anything and submit it — after three teams go [through] — and then you’re good.”
Harry suggested that the producers were “letting us be stupid,” and Aesha replied: “I completely agree.”
Oop! As it stands, The Amazing Race Australia has been paused for 2026. We’ve reached out to Channel Ten for comment on Harry’s claims.
Harry Jowsey and Aesha Scott’s time on Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition
Aesha Scott raced with fiancé Scott Dobson in The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition, bringing her hilarious Below Deck charm to the 2025 season. The pair proved surprisingly strong, making it all the way to the finale after racing through countries including Nepal, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Indonesia.
They won two legs and were consistently near the front, with Aesha’s bubbly chaos balanced by Scott’s steadier presence. In the grand finale, they narrowly missed the top two, finishing behind Rob Mills and Georgie Tunny, and winners Stephen and Bernard Curry. Aesha and Scott ultimately took home the bronze medal, placing third overall.

Harry Jowsey raced with his best mate Teddy Briggs. The pair were pitched as cheeky reality TV larrikins, with Harry joking that Teddy was the smarter one and the reason he needed him in the race.
They became one of the season’s more entertaining teams, combining banter with a competitive streak, and the dynamic duo made it deep into the competition. While they never won a leg, they were strong enough to reach the pointy end and were even seen as fan favourites. However, with just one leg to go before the final, Harry and Teddy were eliminated, finishing fourth overall.
