Fitness influencer Kaylah Holmes found her happy ending in the Love Island Australia 2024 villa with Eric Garcia, and now they’ve shared details about their relationship in a recent White Fox After Hours podcast.
Their story on Love Island Australia was a whirlwind. Eric was a latecomer to the season, but he and Kaylah instantly had eyes for each other.
So, now that Love Island Australia has wrapped up, where are the two love birds now?
Here’s everything we know about Kaylah and Eric’s relationship on Love Island Australia.
Do Kaylah and Eric survive Love Island Australia?
Clearly! Kaylah and Eric have made it abundantly clear that they’re still very loved up.
In a recent interview on the White Fox After Hours podcast, Kaylah and Eric spilled the tea on where their relationship stands.
When hosts Scarlett Montgomery and Cody Mathews asked the couple what made them fall for each other, their answers were so cute.
“It’s just your energy. I just knew, I was so certain about him, everything about him,” Kaylah told White Fox After Hours.
“I already said what I wanted [in a partner]. He was sitting there in front of me, and I’m like, ‘holy shit’. It’s a no-brainer for me.”
Eric said he knew Kaylah was the one after their first conversation.
“For me, it was a lot of things. It wasn’t just the physical attraction. She’s the most gorgeous thing in the world, but I like a girl that knows what she wants, that is mature, and that can communicate well,” he told the podcast hosts.
“There were all these things that ticked my box, like being in the same industry, but just many, many things… That first conversation that we had, I knew straight away. I was like, ‘Yeah, she’s the one’. I was super keen to explore more and get to know more [of her].”
Kaylah and Eric said they were immediately thrown into the deep end and didn’t feel like they had a honeymoon phase, which they considered a positive thing.
“Love Island actually was a blessing in that it taught us to not be scared and to be vulnerable with each other,” Kaylah explained on the podcast.
“It brought us out more, if that makes sense, like out of our comfort zones in a way,” Eric added.
They also revealed that they live together in Manly and still have their Love Island Australia pillows.

Kaylah and Eric are the only remaining couple to survive Love Island Australia 2024 — outlasting even this season’s winners Em Miguel Leigh and Mercedes Knox.
They confirmed their relationship status in a very cute TikTok in December 2024. The caption reads, “Blessed is an understatement.” Adorable!
Kaylah and Eric have been on a social media posting spree since leaving the villa, uploading content on Instagram and TikTok about what they have been doing since leaving the villa.
On top of that, Eric told 9Entertainment that he told Kaylah he loved her as soon as they left the villa.
“I said it first when we came out of the Villa and stayed in a hotel,” Eric said.
“We were in bed and yeah, I said the ‘L word’. People have different views on it, people may wait a little longer which is fair enough, but I think when you know, you know.”
Kaylah and Eric’s Love Island journey
While their relationship is now confirmed, the pair were continually spotted together while the show was still airing.
One post on Reddit showed Kaylah posting on Instagram with Eric very much in the background.
In early December, the user posted, “Love the subtleness of Eric in the background of Kaylah’s posts. Well, we already knew they were still together, but the subtleness has me.”
In November, the pieces of the puzzle were falling into place. At a White Fox event that month, Kaylah admitted she was still dating the person she coupled up with from the villa.
“I’m with my partner that I met in the villa, still currently. We are loved up, and it’s such a vibe. We’re here together tonight,” she said during an interview at a White Fox event in November.

Interestingly, former 2023 Islander Nate Page uploaded some fun pics from the event to IG, and one showed Kaylah and Eric standing riiight next to each other.
During the episode on December 10, the Islanders went through some R&R – revelation and repercussions – where they saw their partners spill the tea through their audition tapes.
Kaylah’s Love Island journey before meeting Eric
During one of Eric’s interviews with producers—which was aired on the show—he said the youngest he would date is 23, adding that 21 and 22 are a bit too young for him. FYI, Kaylah is 22.
He said that his ex was “fit, tall, and blonde ” and that he prefers more natural looks.
But Kaylah wasn’t disheartened by these revelations and said she was “pretty happy”.
When it came to Kaylah’s audition tape, she spoke about a situationship she was in before the show. She confessed she wanted to be with that person because he “ticked all the boxes”. On hearing this news, Eric said he was a bit “taken aback by it”.
But don’t fret; they cleared the air after they were reunited — Kaylah apologised, and Eric said that he felt “so much better.”
In the episode that aired on December 3, Eric told Kaylah that he was “really vibing” her, and she reciprocated his feelings. In the following episode, Eric chose Kaylah to couple up with, and they’ve been very cute ever since.
Kaylah entered the Love Island Australia 2024 villa during Episode 10. She almost instantly coupled up with Zane Prophet, and the pair appeared to have a strong connection until Zane suddenly started having doubts.
He was coupled up with former flame Sophie Mills at Hotel Amor, and the pair hooked up… multiple times. To make matters worse, Zane recoupled with Kaylah after the saucy overnight stay and then dumped her.
But thankfully, Kaylah is now with Eric!
