The Real Housewives of New York City alum Leah McSweeney has settled her bitter legal battle with Andy Cohen and Bravo, ending a dispute that lasted more than two years.

Leah dropped her lawsuit on October 30 after reportedly reaching an out-of-court settlement with the network and Andy.

The settlement means the case will not go to trial, although the financial terms remain under wraps.

Her lawyer, Gary Adelman, welcomed the outcome, telling Page Six: “We are extremely satisfied with the outcome [and] we are proud of Leah and her perseverance.”

What happened before Leah’s lawsuit came to an end?

Leah voluntarily dismissed her claims on October 30, bringing the lengthy legal battle to a close.

Both sides agreed to dismiss the case with prejudice, meaning Leah cannot bring the same claims again.

The agreement comes after Andy and Bravo faced a setback in court earlier this year.

On March 9, a federal judge rejected their attempt to move the dispute into private arbitration.

Judge Lewis Liman ruled that the defendants had given up their right to seek arbitration through their earlier actions in court.

That left the remaining claims in the federal court system, although Andy’s lawyers continued challenging the lawsuit.

The settlement has now brought those proceedings to an end.

However, no judge or jury reached a verdict on Leah’s remaining allegations, and the agreement does not establish that Andy or Bravo admitted wrongdoing.

What did Leah accuse Bravo of doing behind the scenes?

Leah first filed her lawsuit in February 2024, accusing Bravo producers of deliberately undermining her sobriety to create drama for television.

She alleged that producers pressured her to consume alcohol despite knowing about her alcohol use disorder.

The former Housewife also claimed producers mocked her drinking struggles and encouraged other cast members to question her sobriety.

Leah further alleged that producers promised she could attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings while filming The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip in Thailand, but later prevented her from attending.

Her lawsuit also included allegations against Andy, claiming he used cocaine with favoured Housewives stars and rewarded them with better treatment and edits.

Andy strongly denied the cocaine allegations and rejected claims that Bravo pressured cast members to drink.

“We don’t force anyone to do anything,” he said during a May 2024 interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

He also insisted that Bravo had supported cast members who chose to remain sober.

In March 2025, a federal judge dismissed several of Leah’s claims, but allowed certain disability-related claims to continue.

Those remaining claims have now been resolved through the settlement, although neither side has publicly revealed what they agreed to.

The Real Housewives of New York City airs on Bravo.
