Wayne Rooney could be following his wife, Coleen Rooney, into I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! jungle, with 11 other famous faces reportedly joining him for the show’s 2026 series.

According to a report by The Sun published on November 2, the rumoured line-up includes Gavin & Stacey favourite Joanna Page, Love Island star Chloe Burrows and Big Brother presenter AJ Odudu.

However, ITV has yet to confirm any contestants, meaning the reported cast remains speculation.

Wayne Rooney could give Coleen a run for her money on I’m A Celebrity

Wayne is reportedly preparing to follow in Coleen’s footsteps two years after she finished runner-up on the ITV reality show in 2024.

The former Manchester United star is said to be eager to impress their four sons by tackling the show’s infamous Bushtucker Trials.

A source told The Sun that producers believe Wayne could prove just as popular as his wife, whose jungle appearance introduced viewers to another side of her personality.

The newspaper also reports that Joanna Page, best known for playing Stacey Shipman in the BBC sitcom Gavin & Stacey, has signed a contract to participate.

Joanna, who has four children, reportedly wants to make her family proud. Her potential appearance would mark another major reality TV outing following the sitcom’s 2024 Christmas finale.

However, neither Wayne nor Joanna has publicly confirmed their involvement.

Which other celebrities are reportedly heading into the jungle?

Love Island alum Chloe Burrows and Big Brother host AJ Odudu are among the reality TV personalities reportedly joining the show.

Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson, Coronation Street actress Claire Sweeney and comedian Leigh Francis, better known as Keith Lemon, are also on the list.

Meanwhile, broadcaster Mariella Frostrup, model Leomie Anderson and stand-up comedian Jack Skipper have reportedly secured places.

YouTuber Sharky, whose real name is Sharmarke Mohamud, is another potential campmate. His reported involvement follows fellow online creator Angry Ginge’s jungle victory in 2025.

Perhaps one of the most notable names is Paralympian and television presenter Ade Adepitan.

If his participation goes ahead, Ade would reportedly become the show’s first wheelchair-using contestant. The Sun claims producers have explored adapting the camp to accommodate him.

Despite the detailed report, ITV has made its position clear.

“Any names suggested for I’m A Celebrity are just speculation,” a spokesperson told The Sun.

What is confirmed is the show’s return on November 16 at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly returning as hosts.
