The Celebrity Traitors winner Sebastian ‘Bash’ Croft has revealed he fainted during filming and needed medical attention.
The 24-year-old actor collapsed after a demanding grave-digging challenge with Ross Kemp. BBC viewers never saw the incident.
Bash shared the story on the November 1 episode of his podcast, The Sunday Scaries with Bash Croft. He also explained why he thinks producers cut the moment.
How did Bash Croft end up fainting on Celebrity Traitors UK?
The incident happened during the graveyard mission, which aired on October 2. Contestants faced a race to dig their fellow players out of graves.
Ross and Romesh Ranganathan had to choose between freeing their castmates and adding money to the charity prize pot. They chose to help the others.
Bash said Ross threw himself into the challenge and kept urging him to push on. But Bash was struggling to keep up.

“Ross was locked in, being a superstar,” he recalled.
“Anyway, got to the end and felt really lightheaded and fainted,” Bash recalled.
A medic attended to him when he regained consciousness. He drank water and ate chocolate to help raise his blood sugar.
That wasn’t the only uncomfortable part. Bash looked up and spotted Jerry Hall and Richard E. Grant watching him.
Bash recalled looking up to see Jerry and Richard standing over him. He found the situation humiliating, joking, “This is so embarrassing.”
Bash did not say Ross caused his collapse. He described the physical strain and Ross’s determination during the mission.
Why does Bash believe the BBC left it out of Celebrity Traitors UK?
The BBC aired the grave-digging challenge but left out Bash’s collapse and the medical attention that followed.
Bash thinks producers did him a “favour” by removing the scene. He suggested they may have avoided showing a medical incident.
The broadcaster has not publicly confirmed its reason for cutting the footage.
Bash isn’t the only contestant to discuss missing footage. James Acaster also recently revealed that producers cut an earlier confrontation with Jerry.
James said Jerry challenged him about being a Traitor before his October 29 confession. That conversation also stayed out of the final edit.
Despite the scare, Bash went on to win the October 30 finale alongside Romesh Ranganathan. The Faithfuls split £83,000 between their chosen charities, Choose Love and the Refugee Council.
