Before they became household names and propelled to stardom by being beamed into our living rooms four nights a week, the Married at First Sight Australia 2025 (MAFS) cast were just normal people who have also gone through cute, awkward, or not-overly-trendy growing up moments.

Carina Mirable
Carina is undoubtedly this season’s resident fashion queen, admitting to spending up to $15,000 on hair and makeup during filming. While we’ve seen some experimental hairstyles on the show with long ponytails and wet hair looks, a flashback photo from the premiere episode showed Carina sporting a very different look for her 21st birthday, rocking some curled blonde locks.
Rhi Disljenkovic
It’s no secret Rhi is passionate about health and fitness, and it looks like she’s even dabbled in a little bit of body-building/fitness modelling in the past!
Jamie Marinos
A screenshot of Jamie was shared to a MAFS fanpage, showing the breakout star of the season being interviewed by Nine about a robbery that took place in a store she managed. Fans likened the old snap of her to Australian TV personality Carrie Bickmore.
Awhina Rutene
While we know Awhina would look great brunette or blonde, thanks to her twin sister Cleo rocking the dark locks, a throwback photo on Instagram shows the twins with matching lighter brown hair with a copper tinge. We love it!
Jacqui Burfoot
Miss New Zealand herself Jacqui wasn’t lying when she talked about her past modelling experience. If you dive deep enough into her Instagram, you’ll find the snaps. As well as many cute pics of her holding flowers, definitely not bought by Ryan.
Teejay Halkias
Teejay looking like he could be the lead singer of a modern metalcore band wasn’t on my Bingo card, but while we’re used to a smiley Teejay on screen, there’s no denying the model really does pull off dark and mysterious well.
Eliot Donovan
Eliot once dabbled in a bit of topless waiting and there’s no denying he’s got the rig for it, but we’re glad he’s laid off the Bondi Sands now.
Dave Hand
There was once a Dave without all the tats! While the MAFS groom hasn’t changed heaps over time, his neck piece came on a little bit later in life.
