Australia’s very own Chris Hemsworth is about to star alongside Anya Taylor-Joy in George Miller’s Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga! And now, we have a release date and first-look trailer!

The film is a much-anticipated return to the iconic dystopian world which George created more than 30 years ago with the Mad Max franchise, with the new flick a standalone action adventure.

In fact, the next instalment will follow the origins of Furiosa who appeared in the multiple Oscar-winning global smash Mad Max: Fury Road and played by Charlize Theron.

Official Synopsis

As the world falls, young Furiosa (Taylor-Joy) is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus (Hemsworth).  

Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe.  While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.

Who is in the cast?

Anya stars in the title role, alongside Chris and stars Alyla Browne and Tom Burke.
