The tribe has spoken and we officially have an air date for Survivor Australia 2024

Survivor Australia is returning in 2024, and we’ve finally got some new details about the season, including its air date.

The 2024 instalment will be called Australian Survivor: Titans vs Rebels, which gives some insight into next season’s theme.

Along with the air date, Channel 10 have dropped a teaser clip which introduces some of the contestants. Check it out below.

Which is Survivor: Titans vs Rebels airing?

The premiere episode will air on February 5, 2024, at 7:30pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.

What does Titans vs Rebels mean?

The trailer suggests that this year’s theme will have the “good guys” as the Titans versing the “wild ones” as the Rebels.

“A titan is someone who has achieved a great feat against all odds,” one of the Titans explained in the clip.

“I think as Titans we’ve got the natural upper hand in this game,” another added.

Meanwhile, the Rebels said that they were there to shake things up.

“We’re rebels, we love to go against the grain and, kinda, sticking it to the man,” one of the Rebels said. Another added: “Create a little chaos, let the game get a little spicy, it’s what we were born to do.”

Who’s hosting?

Jonathan LaPaglia will be hosting Survivor Australia 2024. He has hosted every season since the show’s revival in 2016.

Who’s competing?

24 new competitors are battling it out to take out the crown of Sole Survivor on Survivor Australia 2024.

Are there any returning contestants?

Nope! Unlike some other seasons where they’ve bought back memorable contestants from previous seasons, Survivor Australia 2024 will star a whole new batch of players.

The Bachelors 2023: There’s been a HUGE development with Wes and Brea’s relationship

Wesley Senna Cortes was the first of The Bachelors 2023 to hand out his final rose, and it went to Brea well before the final episode.

The couple dated exclusively on the show, but decided to go their separate ways at the finale. Since then, Brea has revealed that she’s got a new boyfriend.

While Brea didn’t share the mystery man’s name, she did tell Refinery 29 that “things are going really good” and that they are “living under the same roof”.

Brea shared that she met the man at a cattle station in the middle of the Queensland outback.

“He’s a cowboy and he’s just my type,” she laughed.

The main cause for the breakdown of Wes and Brea’s relationship was the lack of compromise, something that she said her new partner is great at.

“The difference is, we do a lot of compromises, but it’s just something that kind of happened.”

At the finale, Brea said that the door wasn’t completely closed on her relationship with Wes. However, it sounds as though that door is locked and bolted now!

What happened with Wes and Brea?

In episode nine of The Bachelors 2023, Wes took Brea aside and told her that he wanted to explore things with her and her only. Brea was delighted by the decision and agreed to go exclusive with him.

After Wes had sent home the other remaining women, they headed off on a date with fellow Bachelors Luke Bateman and Ben Waddell, the men took Ellie and Amelia respectively.

The date was an overnight date, and Luke and Ben seemed to have a lot of fun in the shower. It wasn’t such smooth sailing for Ben and Amelia who struggled to communicate, however, it was totally awks for Brea and Wes.

As Wes has previously mentioned in The Bachelors, he is religious and doesn’t believe in sex before marriage. He’s also a virgin and has never been in love. Meanwhile, Brea has repeatedly stated that she’s a “very sexual person”.

When Brea and Wes headed to the overnight room, they awkwardly sat next to each other before Wes gingerly gave her a hug and sent her off to her own room.

“We sat down and things got a little bit awkward, it’s almost comical because there is a bit of a dampener on the mood,” Brea said. “Right now, this is not a good start,” she added.

And, their next encounter wasn’t any better. Brea, her mum and her sister met up with Wes and his step mum Baby to talk about the couple’s future. What ensued was an absolute hot mess and Brea was told by Baby (who basically spoke on Wes’s behalf) that there was practically no hope for their future together.

Brea told Wes that she was willing to give up sexual intimacy because of his religious beliefs but wanted to still share a bed with him. Wes continually skirted the question and bed-sharing seemed out of the question, which resulted in Brea dumping him at the finale.

Another season of The Bachelors 2023 is finto for, and two of the men left with their chosen women, but are they still together?

The Bachelors 2023 finale, which was available to stream on 10Play a day before the episode played out on free-to-air TV on December 20th, saw Ben Wadell choose Mckenna and Luke Bateman choose Ellie.

Wes met Brea for the final speech, but he ended up leaving the show single.

Are Brea and Wes still together?

Nope. Brea and Wes were exclusive up until the last episode. However, Brea told Wes that he hadn’t compromised and met her in the middle and ended the relationship.

Since the filming of The Bachelors wrapped, Brea is in a new relationship. The 28-year-old told Refinery29 that she and the mystery man are exclusive and “living under the same roof”.

I wanted to make sure that I continue down that path. I have been voicing my opinion and I have been setting my boundaries and telling people what I want. And now, there’s a guy who wants to meet me halfway,” she added.

Are Ben and McKenna still together?

He added that he is still “great friends” with her and is excited to see what the future has in store for her.

Luke and Ellie are the only surviving love story of The Bachelors 2023.

After the finale aired Ben took to Instagram to gush about the therapist.

“From the very first moment I met Ellie her presence shifted something within me and I knew instantly she was beyond special and my life would never be the same again,” he began.

“The love that grew between us on the show and continues to grow now, is nothing short of magical and once in a lifetime,” he added.

It was fairly obvious that Ben was besotted by Ellie ever since he laid eyes on her in the premiere episode. During the finale, Ben told Ellie he loved her and she said it back to him.

The season finale of The Bachelors 2023 was one for the history books as one Bachie professed his love, another walked away with his fave and another was left heartbroken, walking away with no one.

When host Osher Günsberg sat down with Luke, Ben and Wesley before the final decision, all three were filled with emotion. Luke grappled with the weight of breaking someone’s heart while Ben revealed how far he had come with sharing his emotions.

Meanwhile, Wes contemplated compromise with GF Brea whom he infamously asked to be “exclusive” during the season.

When faced with making his decision, Luke, surrounded by a fairytale setting of flowers, laid his heart on the line to Ellie.

While he initially said he had “lied” to her, the dapper lumberjack revealed that he had been dishonest about how he had only “loved two people” in his life. In reality, he had never had a love like he had with her! Le sigh.

“I love you,” he said, before offering her a dazzling “reassurance ring”.

He was then faced with a heart-to-heart with Lana, ending in a bittersweet goodbye.

Ben

Ben’s honesty led to an unexpected heartbreak, as he told Angela his heart belonged to someone else. Basically, she didn’t take it very well and stormed off.

Meanwhile, he chose Mckenna, sealing their union with a kiss.

Wes

Wesley, with nerves and sincerity, expressed his hopes for a bright future with Brea.

However, the couple had to face the hard truth — compromise and Wes struggled to agree to it.

With differences too big to ignore, the door to their relationship closed indefinitely.

Married at First Sight’s Mel Schilling diagnosed with cancer

MAFS relationship expert Mel Schilling has revealed that she’s been diagnosed with colon cancer.

The TV personality shared the sad news on Instagram and revealed that she was diagnosed last week.

“’YOU HAVE CANCER’. Three little words that everyone dreads but no one ever expects to hear. Last Thursday my consultant told me those 3 words.” she captioned a pic of herself hugging her husband Gareth Brisbane and their daughter Madison in front of their Christmas tree.

Mel explained that she experienced severe cramps while filming and went to her GP, however he put it down to constipation.

“Fortunately I knew something still wasn’t right so I booked in for a scan when I returned to the UK. On Thursday I was told I had colon cancer and in an instant my whole life changed,” she added.

Mel is going to hospital to fight the cancer

Mel revealed that will be going to the hospital on December 21st to have surgery to remove the tumour.

“This week I had planned to travel to Northern Ireland with my family to spend Christmas with loved ones. Instead tomorrow morning I’m checking in to hospital to have an operation to remove a 5cm tumour in my colon, a tumour that had it gone undetected for much longer would have killed me,” she wrote.

Mel’s prognosis

Fortunately, the relationship counsellor said that she is “expected to make a full recovery”.

“I feel incredibly blessed that it’s a cancer that is relatively easy to eradicate,” she wrote. “I also feel so lucky to have an incredible support network around me, both personally and professionally, my own family and my TV family have been amazing this past few days.

“It will be so tough to spend Xmas Day in hospital instead of being surrounded by family but getting rid of Terry (what I’ve named my tumour) will be the best present of all. I just wanted to finish by saying that if something doesn’t feel right, please, please don’t ignore it and if you don’t think the answers you have got are right, keep going until you do, it might just save your life.”

Prime Video has dropped a trailer for its dramatic new series Expats, which stars Nicole Kidman, Sarayu Blue and Ji-young Yoo.

Expats is based on a six-part limited series based on Janice Y.K. Lee’s bestselling novel The Expatriates.

The show follows Kidman and her family who tragically lose their young son while living abroad in Hong Kong. It explores how the huge loss affects multiple lives.

Here’s everything you need to know about the series!

Who’s in it?

Kidman, Blue and Yoo play Margaret, Hilary Starr and Mercy respectively.

The cast also includes Brian Tee (Chicago Med, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows), and Jack Huston (House of Gucci, Fargo). Kidman and Lulu Wang serve as executive producers on the series.

Wang told IndieWire that Kidman initially approached her with the project.

“I was incredibly grateful,” Wang said. “It was pretty early, in the summer, right after [‘The Farewell’] had been released. She saw the film and loved it. She said, ‘There’s this book we optioned and we’re adapting, and you’re the first person to read the scripts. You’re the only director I can see doing this. You have to do it.’”

When does it come out?

The series will premiere with two episodes on January 26, 2024, with new episodes launching weekly until the finale on February 23, 2024.

What’s it about?

Expats takes place in the lively and chaotic backdrop of 2014 Hong Kong. The story revolves around three American women – Margaret, Hilary, and Mercy – whose lives intersect following a sudden family tragedy.

The series delves into the concept of privilege and delves into the consequences of blurred lines between victimhood and culpability. Clarke, played by Brian Tee, is Margaret’s husband, while Hilary’s husband, David, is portrayed by Jack Huston.

Wes’s step-mum Baby basically ripped Brea to shreds on The Bachelors 2023

The Bachelors‘ Brea and Wes’s relationship hit murky waters after they couldn’t agree on how their life outside of the show would look.

The newly exclusive couple sat down with Brea’s mum and sister in episode 11, and Wes’s step mum Baby. Like Wes, Baby is very religious and she made it clear that he and Brea wouldn’t be physically affectionate before marriage.

During the chat, Brea said that she would compromise by being okay with not being sexually intimate with Wes, but would like to share a bed with him. However, Baby wouldn’t have a bar of it.

“Living together, spending the night together doesn’t mean that you’re going to get to know someone better,” she barked at Brea.

“Everyone is pressuring him to lower his standards, and it doesn’t work like that,” she added.

Brea tried to explain her point of view to Baby, but it wasn’t well received.

“I like the close proximity. If I like someone and I’m going to be in a relationship with someone, I want to be around you, I want to be near you,” Brea said to Wes.

By the end of the ep, absolutely no progress was made, and Brea and Wes’s relationship was left on extremely shaky grounds.

Part way his journey as one of the Bachelors, Wes decided to let go of two of his remaining women and make things exclusive with Brea.

In the episode, Wes took Brea aside and told her that he wanted to explore things with her and her only. Brea was delighted by the decision and agreed to go exclusive with him.

Interview: Love Island Australia’s Zac reveals the next major step in his relationship with Lucinda

Love Island Australia 2023’s Zac Nunn’s has dished the dirt on his relationship with Lucinda Strafford, revealing that the couple are about to take a major step together.

Since filming wrapped on Love Island Australia five months ago, Lucinda and Zac have stayed together despite the geological roadblock.

During an interview with Chattr, the Love Island Australia finalist revealed that he’s spent some time in the UK with Lucinda, and she is coming to see him in Australia.

“I spent two and a half months with her in the UK,” he said. “She’s spending Christmas with her family. I’m spending Christmas with my family and I’m seeing her in literally seven days from now. Just after Christmas, she’s coming here and we’re going to spend a month together in Australia.”

“It’s gonna be her first trip [to Australia]. I get to show her around. I’m so excited.”

Zac revealed that he has plans to move to England in the near future so that he can be with Lucinda.

“I think I’m going to relocate to the UK at some point early next year.”

Zac and Lucinda became girlfriend and boyfriend while they were inside the villa, and Zac said that their relationship has been going from strength to strength ever since.

“Obviously, it’s not the real world when you’re in [the villa]. So, when we left it was just crazy how calm it was, we didn’t argue there was nothing bad it was just so wonderful,” Zac said.

The former electrician said that he and Lucinda put a lot of effort into their long-distance relationship.

“I think doing long distances comes with its challenges, it’s not been the easiest thing ever and it takes a lot of trust for both of us,” he said.

“We talk on the phone for four hours every day, we talk on the phone right up until 2am most nights.”

Love Island Australia 2023: The winners have been crowned and Australia made the right decision

Love Island Australia 2023 was quite the ride and finally, two deserving winners have been crowned.

After seven weeks of different eras, dramas, tears, challenges and surprises, Tyra Johannes and Kale Roberts were given the coveted title and basically, we couldn’t love this outcome any more.

After returning to the villa after being dumped, their fairytale story had the audience swooning, with loyal fans voting them their favourite couple over the other finalists, Lucinda Strafford and Zac Nunns and Savanah Badger and Clint Posselt.

“This has been one of the best seasons of Love Island Australia yet,” host Sophie Monk said. “I’ve laughed out loud and actually cried. It’s so entertainingly beautiful, there were heartfelt moments, and it’s so relatable. I feel like I’m learning life lessons from this season, and I’ve seen A LOT in my lifetime.”

Tyra, 23, admitted she was “stoked” about their win.

“Kale is everything I could ever ask for in a partner and more,” she said. “The most kind and considerate man I’ve ever met. We’ve got so many plans, kicking it all off with a trip over to Perth to meet Kale’s family. I am stoked.”

Meanwhile, Kale, 25, said: “I couldn’t be more excited for what’s next for me and the future with Tyra. We have so many exciting things coming up already. It’s amazing how bubbly and uplifting her presence is, she can light up a room with one smile.” CUTE!!

While in previous seasons, the winning couple were handed an envelope each, one containing $50,000 and the other nothing — which determined who was in it for love or money — this year was a little different.

Last week, the top four couples were made a life-changing offer as individuals, deciding whether to take $20,000 from Sophie. All of the couples who remained turned down the cash and chose love, meaning that Tyra and Kale walked away with a cash prize of $50,000.

It’s The Bachelors Australia 2023 finals week, so find out when every episode is on

Watching The Bachelors Australia 2023 has been a bit of a ride for fans this season.

As usual, an episode aired on Channel 10 on its allocated night. However, an advance episode was available on the network’s streaming app, 10Play, straight after the current episode finished airing.

The new format allowed fans to get their Bach dose early, but it was slightly confusing to figure out which episode is on when.

Of course, coming into finals week it’s vital for all serious Bach fans to get their Ben, Wes and Luke dose as soon as possible. So, to make that feat a little easier, we’ve popped together a guide of when each episode is on during The Bachelors Australia finals week.

When is The Bachelors Australia on?

Going into finals week, there are three episodes left of The Bachelors Australia 2023. Episode 10 will air on Channel 10 at 7:30pm on Monday the 18th of December, however, the ep was uploaded for streaming on Sunday night (17th Dec).

Episode 11 will air on free-to-air TV on Tuesday the 19th at 7:30pm and episode 12 will air on Wednesday the 20th at 7:30pm.

When is The Bachelors 2023 grand final?

The Bachelors 2023 grand final will play out on Wednesday the 20th at 7:30pm. Given that it’s the final ep, It’s unlikely that it will be available on 10Play prior to the free-to-air screening.

The Bachelors’ Ben Waddell is certainly no stranger to the spotlight; he’s been working as an international model for well over a decade, and during that time, he’s worked with some big names.

The Love Island 2023 winner may have just leaked and was there really any other option, anyway?

Three couples have made the finals, but which pair of lovebirds will be crowned the winner of Love Island Australia 2023?

The couples who’ve almost made it to the finish line are Kale Roberts and Tyra Johannes, Zac Nunns and Lucinda Strafford and Savannah Badger and Clint Posselt.

Betting odds are suggesting that one couple will win by a landslide and, given the front runner, it looks like they’re right on the money.

While popular site Sportsbet has closed the bets for Love Island Australia 2023, betting odds are still floating around the internet and they have fan favs Kale and Tyra in first place with a return of $1.50. Zac and Lucinda are next with $3.00 and Sav and Clint are least expected to win with a return of $5.00.

How do betting odds work?

Betting odds are listed with a dollar amount. If someone bets $1.00, they’d receive back the amount the couple was listed at. For example, if a punter bets $1.00 on Kale and Tyra they’d receive a $1.50 return if he won. Do betting odds correctly guess the winner?

Not always, however, betting odds can often be a good indicator of who will win a show.

For example, Brent Draper had the best odds to win MasterChef Australia 2023, and he was, in fact, crowned the winner. Plus, last year’s betting odds indicated that Liz Parnov would win Survivor Australia, which she did.

More recently, betting odds suggested that Steph and Gian would win The Block 2023, which they well and truly did, with a profit of $1.65 million, plus $100,000 in prize money.

Gogglebox’s Isabelle Silbery’s sweet nod to Emmie with her baby daughter’s name

Isabelle Silbery has revealed that her baby’s name is a meaningful nod to her grandmother and former Gogglebox co-star Emmie Silbery.

Isabelle took to Instagram to reveal the inspiration behind her daughter’s name, Ruby.

“My heart explodes 🥰,” she wrote. “Ruby was the name of Emmie’s Aunty who adopted her when she was orphaned at age of 9. She saved Emmie from the horrible orphanages back in those days and cared for her like she was her own daughter.

“I hope our Ruby inherits generations of maternal resilience and Emmie’s cheeky sense of humour 😛.”

Isabelle appeared on Gogglebox with her mum Kerry Silbery and her grandma Emmie, however, Emmie stepped back from the show earlier this year following her dementia diagnosis.

Isabelle and Alex announce Ruby’s birth

Isabelle and her husband Alex Richards announced the exciting news about Ruby’s birth on Instagram on December 9th.

“•••RUBY EMILY RICHARDS•••,” she wrote alongside alongside a collection of photos of her and Alex in the maternity ward. “The female body is truly incredible. My daughter is here and the experience was grounding and empowering.”

” @ajrichards6 so honoured to see you become a besotted father 🥰,” she added. “I’m hormonal and in a love bubble. More to come soon. Xx.”

Alex also posted a loving tribute to his new daughter and his wife on Instagram.

“This little one just changed my life 💕👶🏼,” he began. “Ruby Emily Richards, you have no idea how loved you are going to be. You instantly gave me another purpose in life. I can’t wait to watch you grow.

“@isabellesilbery your feminine energy when you brought her into the world was so powerful. You’re amazing ❤️.”

Isabelle is also mum to nine-year-old son Luca, who she shares with her ex-husband.

Game over! Wes makes Bachelor history with a groundbreaking decision

Wesley Senna Cortes has made The Bachelor Australia history and TBF, we saw this coming from a mile away!

**WARNING: This article contains spoilers for episode nine of The Bachelors Australia 2023.**

During episode nine of the 2023 season (which was uploaded to 10Play on December 13) Wes decided to become exclusive with Brea, sending the rest of his girls home.

The episode began with Wes sitting down with a producer, revealing he’d made a YUGE decision; with the producer saying this was a Bachie first. Given Nick Cummins had already taken the crown of choosing no one, this was ANOTHER cray-cray first…and actually, it’s kinda cute!

Earlier in the day, Wes had chatted with Ben Waddell and Luke Bateman, telling them that he was planning to ask just one girl to be his GF. After the initial shock, they were all like, “Why didn’t I think of that?!” because seriously, Luke just needs to choose Ellie and put the rest of the girls out of their misery…

“A friend of mine said, ‘Wes, once you get out, I need to ask you a question. I feel like the Bachelors know from day one who they want to end this with,'” Wes said in a confessional. “To which I said, ‘I don’t know I’ll have to tell you later’.”

He then went on to say that during the first night, he had noticed Brea straight away.

“I looked over to the back. She was very nervous and I just knew.”

When telling Brea of his decision, he admitted that their “spark had kept on growing”, before popping ye olde “exclusive” question!

Naturally, she said yes and they skipped off into the sunset… or did they?!

The overnight date spells trouble for Wes and Brea

Now BF and GF, Brea accompanied Wes on an overnight stay. While they had an incredible time, when it came time to sleeping arrangements, things got, well, a little awkward.

ICYMI – Wes’ only personality during this entire season has been the fact that he is a virgin, a revelation that has not only been of concern for Brea but was also part of the reason Jade self-eliminated.

Cut back to the overnight and Wes revealed that he didn’t want to sleep in the same bed as Brea which left her feeling a little… perplexed.

Being a “sexual person”, Brea was hoping to do everything but the sexy time and given he doesn’t want to have sex until he’s married — and potentially even sleep in the same bed until then — we don’t love their chances…

How to win the tickets

All you have to do is rent Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour (Extended Version) on Prime Video between December 14th and December 31st and you’ll be automatically entered into the draw!

Nope, the contest is limited to one entry per active Amazon.com.au account. That means other people won’t be able to enter hundreds of times either, giving you a better chance at winning!

Who can enter?

Of course, you need to have an Amazon.com.au account. Aside from that, you’ll need to be a legal resident of Australia and must be at least 18 years of age. The winner’s guest who scores the other ticket must also be 18 years of age or older at the time of the concert.
