TJ Swim Partner with I=Change

TJ Swim was born in 2015 out of founder Tara Jane’s parents’ laundry room as she struggled to find high-quality bikinis with Brazilian coverage that lasted beyond one Summer. Repurposing $10,000 of her own savings that were meant for an overseas holiday, she turned her idea into a company that is now worth $3 million and amassed a cult celebrity following including Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Miley Cyrus, and Chrissy Teigan to name a few.

Not only does the brand boast cutting edge designs that suit women sizes XS-XL, but they have also partnered with I=Change, providing the opportunity for customers to use their purchase power to give back and shop for a change. $1 from every purchase will be donated to one of three life-changing projects that are close to Tara’s heart.

  • Keep Girls In School – $25 = provides access to menstrual hygiene management that secures a girls education
  • Restore The Reef – $50 in donations will prevent 1 tonne of sediment from reaching the Great Barrier Reef
  • Prevent Women Dying – $25 will support researchers uncover new drugs targets for chemo-resistant breast cancer

Modibodi’s ‘Give a Pair’ Contribution

Aussie-born leak-proof undies brand and CEO and Founder, Kristy Chon has revolutionised how the nation (and the world) manage their leaks, triggering the disruption of an almost 40-billion US dollar global industry. Modibodi is one fash-tech business that is bucking this trend, led by Kristy, backed by a team of 24 women employees all dedicated to empowering women with the confidence to live their best lives.

Kristy is also making a difference on a global scale with her social impact initiatives and mission to support people with a lack of access or limited funds for, menstrual or incontinence management products.

To date, Modibodi’s Give a Pair contribution at checkout initiative has seen the brand donate almost 17,000 in 2020 alone, and 23,341 pairs to date.

“Modibodi is determined to put an end to period poverty. In many countries, including Australia, lack of access to these items prevents all menstruating young people from going to school and pursuing study into fields they love – such as STEM. We are giving back to those in need and doing our part to ensure all people have access to these products so that they can be confident to pursue the life of their dreams,” says Kristy.

Quay Donate to Girls Inc

Quay, leading global eyewear and accessories brand, has partnered with supermodel and entrepreneur Ashley Graham. The partnership is centred around self-expression and the notion that ‘Confidence is Quay’ – a tagline for the brand and an idea that Ashley lives by. The 33-year-old has built a brand on representing the everywomen, celebrating women who are just being themselves while normalising all shapes, sizes, genders and race.

As part of the collaboration—and in an ongoing commitment to philanthropy and cause efforts to support the self-expression, confidence, and well-being of their global community—Quay will donate $100,000 USD to Girls Inc., a non-profit organization that inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold through direct service and advocacy.

Together, Quay and Ashley are rallying behind this year’s International Women’s Day theme #CHOOSETOCHALLENGE—a partnership that challenges the way things have always looked by advocating for inclusivity and representation in fashion, invoking confidence in their communities, and envisioning a brighter future for the next generation of women.
