Hold the phone! There’s two more parts to Raquel Leviss’ insane VPR interview with Bethenny

If you weren’t already exhausted by Vanderpump RulesRaquel Leviss’ first interview since #Scandoval, you’re about to be, because there are two more instalments on the way.

Much like every VPR reunion in existence, there won’t be one, nor two parts to Leviss’ first interview… it will be a trilogy.

A lot was said during her interview (like a lot, a lot) which was conducted by none other than fellow Bravo reality star Bethenny Frankel.

For those who aren’t up to date with the peak reality TV moment that was the Vanderpump Rules affair, let me give you a quick explanation.

Ariana Madix was in a nine-year relationship with her (now ex) boyfriend Tom Sandoval. Their entire relationship was documented on Vanderpump Rules. Earlier this year, Madix’s close friend Leviss admitted to being in a six-month affair with Sandoval. Chaos ensued.

Tom and Ariana. Vanderpump Rules. Hayu.

What did Racquel say in her interview?

Leviss dismissed Madix’s nine-year relationship with Sandoval and rationalised her choice to go behind her friend’s back.

“I would not be involved in this affair, secrecy-type situation if I thought there was longevity in this relationship between Tom and Ariana,” she said.

“The people closest to them can see their relationship has not been what they portray on camera. Tom always told me they’re a brand, they’re an image. … They’re business partners.”

Tom and Raquel. Vanderpump Rules. Hayu.

Speaking on her relationship with Madix, Leviss denied that they were ever close.

“We were acquaintances who became friends through the show. We never had a deep conversation that I would have with a best friend.”

Leviss continued to show no remorse and chastised Madix for the way she reacted at the VPR reunion, which was filmed shortly after Madix found out about the affair.

“It is hurtful to me just to think that — my nature is very kind and forgiving and understanding of other people, so the concept of me being the ultimate reality TV villain just blows my mind… And the way that she spoke to me at the reunion, I feel like it was uncalled for,” she said.

When will the next instalments drop?

The next parts of Leviss’ bonkers interview with Frankel are on their way!

Part two will reportedly drop on August 18, while the final instalment is set to be released on August 19, AEST.

Will Racquel be back for the next season of Vanderpump Rules?

It looks unlikely. Most VPR cast members have been photographed filming the new season, and Leviss hasn’t been seen with them.

TMZ has also reported that she won’t be returning.

Ariana Madix. Instagram.

The theory is backed up by Leviss’ interview with Frankel during which she complained about not being compensated for the amount of exposure her affair with Tom bought to the season.

“I just heard what you were saying on TikTok and using my case as an example of exploitation and the way that the network is running to the bank—like laughing, running to the bank with this scandal and I haven’t seen a single penny,” she said. “I feel like it’s not fair and I feel like a toddler saying, ‘It’s not fair,’ but it really isn’t.”

You can listen to it here.

The Block 2023 Recap Episode 8: Two houses have a sleepover and Leah and Kyle sort sh** out

**SPOILER ALERT: If you are from Melbourne, Adelaide or Perth, this recap contains spoilers for episode eight of The Block which will air on Thursday, August 17**

It’s episode eight of The Block 2023 and unfortunately for Steph and Gian, a lovely friendship continued to develop between Leah and Ash (House Two) and Kristy and Brett (House 3).

In fact, the foursome who have decidedly turned themselves into the Mean Girls cast had a sleepover while House Two underwent some serious demolition.

Kristy. Nine

Given that it was a long weekend in Melbourne at the time of filming and the fact that the show’s rules means no power tools on a Public Holiday, the Blockheads continued to build their studios by hand.

Meanwhile, tensions have been brewing between Leah and House One’s Kyle, who you may remember called her out for speaking over people during the madness that was the body corporate. Like her husband in episode seven, Leah cannot let sh** go and approaches Kyle to clear the air.

Kyle and Leah. Nine

Kyle, who is pretty much as chill as they come, explains there is no issue; however, he admits he doesn’t think they will ever be besties.

Over in House Four, Steph and Gian are delighted when Scotty Cam tells them they can sell the huge swim spa in their backyard. Dollar signs flash in Gian’s eyes and he smiles from ear to ear. Finally, some luck for the underdogs!

Gian. Nine

As the contestants continue their builds, they’re reminded of the huge prizes up for grabs on The Block this week. Not only will there be a $10k cash prize from Ford for the winning room, but also a $20k wardrobe upgrade from Kinsman, and a goddamn Hermes vintage bag worth at least $20k!!

Even though Kristy and Brett have a solid alliance with their neighbours, their own pairing starts to see a few cracks as they argue about the best way to paint their studio apartment. However, during a Weber grilling challenge, where the Blockheads were tasked with cooking the perfect steak for Scotty, the long-time host awards Brett the win and the couple take home $10k.

The Block airs on Sunday at 7:00pm and continues Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

MAFS bride Alyssa drops bombshell about her sex life with ex-hubby Duncan

Scorned MAFS bride Alyssa Barmonde has served up some piping hot tea about her sex-life with her TV husband Duncan James.

Post filming, the reality star managed to stay relatively tight-lipped about her relationship with Duncan, until a recent appearance on Selina Chhaur and Taku Chimwaza’s Back To Reality podcast.

Alyssa revealed that she and Duncan actually lied about the first time they had sex on the show. They told cameras – and their fellow participants – that they waited until Intimacy Week to slip between the sheets.

MAFS. Nine.

“I do have a bit of a truth bomb,” she told the podcast hosts. “We did not wait to intimacy week. So we had told everyone that we were waiting, that it never happened.”

She clarified that she and Duncan got down and dirty within the first few nights of meeting.

“Look, I don’t want to throw him under the bus because I initially agreed with him,” she said. “But he had said, ‘Look, let’s not tell anyone about this. I feel like we’ll be a bit more respected if we just wait until after Intimacy Week’. And I was like, ‘That’s a good idea’.

“The production would’ve known because my producer was always like, ‘Has it happened yet?’, and I’m probably glowing, right?” she added. “She’d always give me this look, and I’m the worst liar. So I would always be looking around like, things are fine! She’s like, ‘Has it happened yet?’ and I was like, ‘No!’. She knew.”

Duncan is now dating MAFS co-star Evelyn Ellis

Evelyn Ellis. Instagram.

Duncan and Alyssa broke up at the final commitment ceremony when the groom told her that he didn’t want to move forward in a relationship with her.

After the break up, Duncan and Evelyn began a relationship, and have been together since March. The pair confirmed their relationship in May in a video with Nine Entertainment.

“This is Evelyn and Duncan’s hard launch,” Evelyn said in the video.

“It feels good to finally just say it, and it feels kind of exhilarating in a weird, freeing way.”

Check out the betting odds for The Matildas to win against England in the FIFA Women’s World Cup

Soccer fever is well and truly sweeping the nation, and with The Matildas competing in FIFA Women’s World Cup Semi-Final taking place tonight, fans are wondering what the likelihood of them winning is.

One way to get an indication of The Matildas’ chance of taking the W is by looking at the current betting odds.

At the time of writing, Australia has betting odds of $3.30 to win, England has $2.40 while the return for a draw is $3.00.

Sportsbet.com

What do betting odds mean?

Betting odds are based on a dollar value. So if a punter puts down $1 and their team wins, they’ll get the aforementioned amounts back. The odds apply to different amounts too. For example, if someone bet $10.00 that The Matildas will win they’d get $33.00 back. If they threw down $100.00, they’d have a return of $330.00 and so forth.

Are betting odds always right?

There’s absolutely no guarantee that betting odds can predict a win. However, the betting odds are skewed by the amount of money that’s been put behind a team.

In the case of the FIFA Women’s World Cup Semi-Final, it means that more money has been bet that England will win in comparison to Australia. Often, these people betting the money have in-depth knowledge about the sport and the teams, so they can provide an indication of who might win.

What is the Australian Matilda’s track record against the English Lionesses?

The Matildas have gone up against The Lionesses six times, and they’ve lost three times, won twice and drawn once. Their most recent match up was in Brentford, UK, at the Gtech Community Stadium in April. They won the match with a score 2 to 0.

What time is the game?

While the Pre-Game starts at 7pm AEST, the official kick-off for tonight’s game is:

  • 8pm AEST — ACT, NSW, Queensland, Tasmania, Victoria
  • 5:30pm ACST — Northern Territory, South Australia
  • 6pm AWST — Western Australia

The Voice recap episode 6: Coach Jason Derulo thinks he’s “found the winners of The Voice”

It’s episode six of The Voice Australia 2023 and Jason Derulo believes that he’s just snagged out the winners of The Voice in cousins Tee and Raye.

While the other coachesRita Ora, Guy Sebastian and Jess Mauboy – all turned their chairs for the cousin duo, it was Jason who they chose to go with.

Elsewhere in the blind auditions, all four added some more impressive talent to their teams.

See below for the highlights from the 2023 Blind Auditions #6!

Giaan Jordan

It was only Giaan’s second time ever performing in front of a live audience, but her lack of experience with a crowd didn’t dampen her delivery. The 17-year-old indigenous teenager managed to turn three chairs with her rendition of Cindi Lauper’s True Colours and joined Team Jess after she blocked Guy.

Tee and Raye

Cousins Tee and Raye had all four coaches turning their chairs for their performance of En Vogue’s Don’t Let Go (Love).

“This is why I keep coming back to Australia year after year because the talent here is another level!”  Rita exclaimed.

However, they chose Team Jason, who declared: “I might have just found the winners of The Voice.”

Jade Taunton

After Jade’s cover of Fleetwood Mac’s Landslide, Jess headed up on stage to comfort her. Jade revealed that she is a carer for her sister who has cerebral palsy, stating: “I didn’t know who I was as a person.”

Jess told Jade that her performance took her to a “whole other place with her vocals” and the 23-year-old secured a spot on her team.

Jaxson

Jaxson from Victoria dedicated her song I Fall Apart by Post Malone to his late mum and earned a spot on Team Guy.

Cruize Karaitiana

Cruize chose to sing a Rita Ora song in the form of Carry On by Kygo featuring the The Voice coach. He got a chair spin from both Rita and Jess and chose Team Rita.

The Voice continues 7.30pm on Monday on Channel 7 and 7plus.

The Block 2023 Recap Episode 7: Ash cannot let sh** go and puts Kyle on his hit list

It’s episode seven of The Block 2023 and there are six days left until the studio room reveal.

Following the dramatic body corporate the day prior, our Blockheads are STILL reeling after Leah and Ash went for Steph for having her dad, Nick work on House Number Four.

While the chaos doesn’t directly affect Kyle, Ash is fuming about the way he spoke to Leah during the meeting.

Meanwhile, Kyle and Leslie are at Scotty Cam’s house in Gisborne where Danny Wallis pops in to give them some great advice about what he is looking for when buying a house on The Block. He has experience since he’s pretty much bought every single one…

Danny Wallis. Nine

Leah struggles to find a gyp rocker while Gian gets a talking to for dangerous practice

Over in Leah and Ash’s house, besides whingeing, they’re actually renovating and Leah is having real trouble finding a gyp rocker, making many calls with no luck. They then call Tom last year who finds one for them at the very last second.

While taking a break from the drama, Kristy and her husband Brett manage to secure their real estate agent, Belle Property in Hampton. Not taking a break from the drama is Gian, who nearly causes an accident while conducting a demo in front of Foreman Keith on the roof. Site manager Aidan tells him off and Gian promises he won’t do it again.

Gian. Nine

After a day of building, whingeing, complaining and some more building, the problematic Leah and Ash and Kristy and Brett come together in House No.2 to, you guessed it… b**ch and moan about Kyle.

Ash is still fuming about how Kyle spoke to Leah and wants to “talk” to him about it… look out, Kyle! Ash is coming for you…

The Block airs on Sunday at 7:00pm and continues Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

Check out the new Neighbours trailer and find out exactly when it’s returning

Neighbours is returning to our small screens and the new season will take place two years in the future.

The new trailer shows that the Neighbours season (reboot?) will kick off with an extravagant wedding between Mike Young (Guy Pearce) and his former love interest Jane Harris (Annie Jones). However, because nothing in soapie land can be straightforward and simple, the quick clip teases a “jaw-dropping twist”.

Neighbours. Ten.

Of course, Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis), Neighbours’ most infamous villain, appears to have something to do with the twist. He’s shown holding the wedding ring and talking to his friend who asks, “You’re not having second thoughts about today, are you?”

Furthermore, avid Neighbours fans will remember that Paul and Jane have a complicated romantic history – suggesting that Paul may be at the wedding to break it up. Watch the trailer for yourself below:

When does Neighbours air?

Neighbours is returning to 10 and 10Play on Monday, September 18. UK and U.S. audiences can view the series on Amazon Freevee plus Prime Video in Australia and New Zealand seven days following free to air viewing on Network 10.

I thought Neighbours was cancelled?

Well, you’re not wrong. Neighbours was cancelled, and its “series finale” aired in July 2022.  However, it was revived when Amazon’s AVOD service, Freevee, bought the rights from former Neighbours distributor, Fremantle.

Neighbours. Ten.

Who will be in the Neighbours reboot?

Not all of the Neighbours cast will be returning for the reboot, however, there is a big chunk of characters coming back, plus some newcomers.

Alan Fletcher, Jackie Woodburne, Stefan Dennis, Ryan Moloney, Annie Jones, Rebekah Elmaloglou, Georgie Stone, Tim Kano, Lucinda Cowden and Lucinda Armstrong Hall are all returning to the soap. While new kids on the block Mischa Barton (yes, that Mischa barton), Shiv Palekar, Sara West, Naomi Rukavina and Xavier Molyneux will all be coming on board.

Plus, Guy Pearce who starred in over 450 episodes from 1986 – 1989 and who returned for the series finale last year, is re-joining the cast, too.

Speaking of his return, Pearce said that he’s happy to come back again, even though he thought his appearance in the series finale would be the last of Mike Young.

“Obviously, if I’m going to extricate myself from the show, I want to do it respectfully. I wasn’t just gonna go, ‘Well, bad luck. You had your chance, that was it,’ you know. So there may be a little appearance or two, shall we say,” he said during an appearance on the Good Weekend Talks podcast.

Neighbours airs on Monday, September 18 on 10 and 10Play.

Peep the dollar amount of every tip ever given on Below Deck Down Under

Undoubtedly one of the biggest highlights of a Below Deck Down Under charter for the crew is the tip meeting – especially when it’s a healthy sum.

And, as a viewer, it’s also interesting the see whether the crew’s hard work paid off, or if their guest was particularly stingy or generous.

However, with so many dollar amounts flying around, it can be hard to remember if a tip is actually good, and it’s often easier to rely on the gang’s reaction to gauge the answer.

Tip meeting on Below Deck Down Under
Below Deck Down Under. Hayu.

However, we’ve eliminated that problem for you by going through every episode of Below Deck Down Under, and popping together a list of exactly how much each guest gave in tips. You can thank us later.

The tips from each season of Below Deck Down Under

Season One

Charter 1 USD $16,230

Charter 2 USD $16,920

Charter 3 USD $16,530

Charter 4 USD $16,230

Charter 5 USD $17,800

Charter 6 USD $14,000

Charter 7 USD $16,149

Charter 8 USD $16,149

Below Deck Down Under. Hayu.

Season Two

Charter 1 USD $17,500

Charter 2 USD $15,000

Charter 3 USD $25,000

The difference in the cost of charter

Season two of Below Deck Down Under is held on the former Japanese fishing vessel turned super yacht The Northern Sun. As many fans have pointed out, the current season’s boat is erm, slightly sub-par to season one’s Thalassa. Case in point: Tzarina’s cramped kitchen.

Below Deck Down Under. Hayu.

And, the drop in quality is represented in the price of the charters.

In season one the average cost was USD $310,000 for a trip, while season two is much lower, at USD $161,700.

However, despite the lower cost of the charter, the tips are significantly higher. For example, charter six on season one of BDDU gave a tip of USD $14,000, while charter three on season two gave a tip of USD $25,000, which is a massive 56% increase.

Think you can turn the judge’s chair? You’re in luck because The Voice Australia is casting for 2024

The Voice Australia may have only just kicked off the current season, but they’re already casting for 2024.

“The country’s number-one music show is back for another season!” The casting page reads. “Do you think you could walk onto Australia’s biggest stage and turn a chair?”

The Voice. Seven.

How do I apply

Casting for The Voice Australia 2024 is already open, so those interested in applying can do so through the link here.

What’s the application process like?

The first step of applying for The Voice Australia is to fill out a detailed online questionnaire. Here, you’ll be asked to fill in some personal details, like your name and address. Next, you’ll be asked some open-ended questions about your life and music preferences.

Amongst these questions are What is the craziest thing that has ever happened to you? and What artist/s do you aspire to be like and why?

The Voice. Seven.

Another question, which isn’t necessarily related to music but could help producers concoct a back story about you is: Tell us something that might surprise us? What you did on the weekend? A funny story about you?.

Applicants are also asked to send in a video of themselves performing as part of the application process.

What does the winner of The Voice receive?

The person who’s crowned the winner of The Voice Australia receives $100,000 in prize money, as well as a recording contract with Universal Music.

Who has won The Voice in the past?

The Voice has had 11 winners since it started back in 2012.

Lachie Gill. Instagram.

On the most recent season, Lachie Gill from Team Rita won the competition. He recently told The Daily Telegraph that he has a bunch of songs ready to release soon.

“We’ve got maybe 12 or 13 songs ready to go that we can put out so definitely want to get those out in a reasonable amount of time so that people aren’t waiting four months every time for a new song,” he said.

The Traitors Recap Episode 2: The players can’t stop eliminating Faithfuls

It’s episode two of The Traitors Australia and two players have already been eliminated from the game, with two more set to leave tonight.

The remaining players gathered at breakfast and accusations ran wild around the bunch about who were the Traitors amongst them. Gyton found himself in the crossfire, with suspicion mounting over his intentions in the game.

Meanwhile, Elias failed to turn up to the morning meal, meaning that he was the Faithful who was eliminated (or murdered, as the show likes to eloquently put it) overnight.

The players gathered together for the challenge and were told by host Rodger Corser that they’d need to retrieve large puzzle blocks from a lake using a rowboat, and then arrange them into a pyramid before time ran out.

The red team finished their pyramid with just seconds to go and won eight bars of silver, which equates to $16,000 in the prize pot.

Because the red team won the challenge, they were given the opportunity to compete in the Immunity Challenge. Simone found the Lucky Shield for the second time, giving herself immunity once again.

Who was murdered and who was banished?

At the Banishment Ceremony, Gyton had a clear target on his back and despite giving a sincere pitch, the other players believed he was using his acting chops to fool them. Traitor Sam was slyly campaigning to blindside fellow Traitor Ash, and tried to encourage Gyton and Luke to vote with him.

The Traitors. Ten.

However, the majority voted against Gyton and he was eliminated from the game. But, not before he made it clear that his vote was on Ash, raising suspicion around her claim to be a Faithful.

With Faithful Gyton eliminated, all three Traitors were safe once again.

16 remain as The Traitors Australia 2023 continues on August 21 on 10 and 10Play.

The Voice recap episode 5: One judge begs on her knees for a contestant to join her team

It’s episode 5 of The Voice Australia 2023 and we saw another round of the Blind Auditions, with one particular stand out.

The episode saw coaches Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy, Jason Derulo and Rita Ora battle it out for their favourite voices, and all four were desperate to secure one talent who was described as an “undeniable force”.

See below for the highlights from the 2023 Blind Auditions #4!

David Aumua

David gave such a stunning performance of You Say by David Aumua that he not only got a four-chair turn, but he also had Jess on her knees, begging him to join her team. And, that wasn’t before she blocked Guy mid-pitch.

The Queenslander opened up about his weight insecurities, and emotionally spoke about how they’ve stopped him from pursuing a career in music.

Jess’s desperate plea for the 24-year-old was successful and David officially joined Team Jess.

Nyree Huyser

Nyree also managed to get all four coaches to turn their chairs for her rendition of Stone Cold by Demi Lovato. Rita called the performance “next level” while Guy questioned: “Where have you been hiding?”.

The 37-year-old mother of three opted to go with Team Rita.

Caitlyn Bamber

Year 11 student – and Guy Sebastian super fan – Caitlyn bravely belted out Guy’s song Where Have You Been Hiding. The risk paid off and both he and Jason turned their chairs. After an impressive pitch by Jason, Caitlyn shocked the audience by choosing his teams, instead of Guys.

Maz Green

Guy and Jess both spun their chairs for Maz, who covered TikTok tune Snap by Rosa Linn. After a face-off between the two judges, Maz chose Team Guy.

Sihana Haxhnikaj

Sixteen-year-old Sihana joined Team Rita after the pop singer spun for her performance of Miley Cyrus’s Nothing Breaks Like A Heart.

The Voice continues 7.30pm on Tuesday on Channel 7 and 7plus.

The Block 2023 Recap Episode 6: More tears as a Body Corporate is called to discuss #NickGate

It’s episode five of The Block 2023 and Studio week gets underway!

The good news is, the bathrooms have already been completed after some serious tears and drama. The best news though?! These renovated additions will serve as the lush homes our Blockheads can stay in during their ~jOurNeY~.

The morning after the judging

It’s the morning after the judging and Leah is fuming after the judges called her bathroom “half-baked”. It’s not half-baked, goddamn it! It was a bloody work of art!

Meanwhile, her arch nemesis Steph and her husband, Gian, have now found new builders. The catch? They can only stay onsite for two weeks. Lol.

While this is already drama of epic proportions, Ash is furious that Steph’s dad Nick helped them and broke The Block rules, working without being paid or inducted.

Ash then calls a body corporate meeting but before the blessed affair, he runs into Steph and Gian at the McCafe telling the shocked pair why the meeting was taking place.

Whether it was a breach or not, Steph feels she is being attacked.

The Body Corporate

Unsurprisingly, Leah runs the Body Corporate and tensions rise with Kyle accusing Leah of talking over everyone.

“No one talks to me like that,” she says.

After the heated discussions, Steph and Gian promise to make amends by paying Nick and promise that next time he will be inducted…but most of the other couples are still P**SED.

There’s a clear group divide

Kyle and Leslie get a surprise after their Week 1 reveal win when they arrive at Scotty’s house in Gisborne. They are joined by avid Block buyer, Danny Wallis

While they’re living it up on vacay, Steph is in tears — again — when she realises she has to find a third builder. To make matters worse, when she goes shopping with Liberty and Leslie, they run into Kristy and Leah and a clear divide among the women is formed.

The Block airs on Sunday at 7:00pm and continues Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

The new trailer teases that the season will see a “Grammy-winning global superstar” as well as a ‘Hollywood heartthrob”.

While no celebrities are actually revealed in the clip (because that would, you know, ruin the whole concept of the show), the judges are shown being absolutely blown away by one of the reveals.

Viewers also get a first look at the masks that will be taking centre stage in the upcoming season. Among them are a cute-looking blue cow, a slightly creepy crash dummy and a strangely beautiful space fairy.
