The Project’s Carrie Bickmore rarely puts a foot wrong when she’s on TV.

But it seems Channel 10’s new show, Would I Lie To You?, will put her in an awkward position.

In the trailer for the local version of the upcoming show, she admits the panellists: “I once revealed a little too much to a houseguest.”

Comedian Luke McGregor curiously asked: “What did you reveal to them?”

“He saw me naked and I didn’t want to make it awkward, so I just chatted to him for a while,” she recalled, as the studio erupted in laughter.

Not sure if this is something I would admit, but hey, it is the name of the game.

Carrie added: “He still comes over all the time now,” as host Chrissie Swan along with the other panelists said what we all were thinking: “I bet he does.”

Fellow panellist, comedian Ross Noble, clearly couldn’t help but quip: “If it’s any help, she’s naked from the waist down.”

The comedy panel show is based on the popular UK format that airs on the BBC, hosted by Rob Brydon with team captains, comedians David Mitchell and Lee Mack.

Each week a stellar line-up of celebrity and comedic guests will reveal amazing and bizarre stories about themselves.

Some stories, believe it or not, are true. Other stories, amazingly, are made up. The aim of the game is to fool the opposing team into mistaking fact for fiction and fiction for fact.

Daniel Monaghan, senior vice president, content and programming, ViacomCBS, said: “I’m not going to lie to you – viewers on Network 10 are going to absolutely fall in love with Would I Lie To You? – and that’s the honest truth!”

Endemol Shine Australia CEO, Peter Newman, said: “We are absolutely delighted to bring one of the world’s greatest comedy panel shows to Australian audiences. Would I Lie To You? is a wonderfully simple and hilarious game where lying is not only required, but elevated into a side-splittingly funny competition.

“We can’t wait to get Australian families playing along – picking the facts from the fibs – and laughing out loud at the impossibly absurd stories of our captains and guests.”

Would I Lie To You? is an Endemol Shine Australia production for Network 10.
