Robert Irwin’s role as a host on I’m A Celebrity Australia 2024 was a roaring success, and we now know if he’ll be returning next year.

Robert stepped into the shoes of Dr Chris Brown, after he left to a rival network, and hosted the popular reality show alongside Julia Morris.

His gig on the show was very well received by viewers, and it appears that Channel 10 was listening to the good feedback, as they’ve signed him on for another season!

Channel 10 confirms Robert Irwin will return as a host for I’m A Celebrity

Robert position on the show was called into question after Women’s Day published an article claiming that he was moving to Channel Seven. However, Channel 10 have since squashed that rumour.

“What a load of croc!,” the network told Daily Mail Australia in a statement. “We’ve heard a lot of furphys over the past 10 seasons, but media reports about Robert no longer hosting I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! take the cake and are completely fake.”

“We’ve just wrapped an excellent season and can’t wait to do it all again next year,” they added.

A network source sang Robert’s praises

A production insider raved about Robert’s work as the host of I’m A Celebrity Australia 2024.

“Robert’s easygoing and faultless live TV skills have won over the nation. But contrary to reports, his career at Ten is far from over; Robert is definitely staying with us,” they told Daily Mail Australia.

“Robert has been an absolute treasure on the show. His wildlife expertise, and genuine charm has resonated well with viewers, and we’re thrilled to have him back.”

“He’s very much a part of the Channel 10 family, and everyone is super happy with how he’s fitting into the lineup. The rumours of him jumping ship are just that – rumours,” they added.
