The four-part docuseries is set to rewrite Australian history.

Take a trip back in time on Network 10’s upcoming documentary series The First Inventors to discover the story of the world’s longest-surviving culture — the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The four-part docuseries celebrates the traditions of first nation ancestors, delves into their inventions and innovations, and questions whether their ancient knowledge might hold answers to humanity’s most pressing modern challenges.

Who is hosting?

The First Inventors is hosted and narrated by Logie Award-winning actor and proud Tiwi Islander man Rob Collins, who leads a team of First Nations investigators as they uncover more than 65,000 years of history.

“The power of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge is awe-inspiring, its endurance speaks to the strength, resilience and ingenuity of Indigenous knowledge holders around this incredible country,” Collins said in a statement.
