If you (absolutely) loved The Dry (2021), starring Eric Bana, then grab your diaries because its sequel, Force of Nature: The Dry 2, is coming to cinemas. And soon.

The new film is based on the bestselling novel by Jane Harper with Bana reprising his character, Aaron Falk.

What will Force of Nature: The Dry 2 be about?

When five women take part in a corporate hiking retreat and only four come out on the other side, Federal Agents Aaron Falk and Carmen Cooper head deep into the Victorian mountain range to investigate, hoping to find their whistle-blowing informant, Alice Russell, alive. 

When will it be released?

The sequel will hit Australian and New Zealand cinemas on August 24, 2023.

Who is in the new cast?

Bana is joined by cast members Anna Torv (The Last of Us), Deborra-lee Furness (Jindabyne), Robin McLeavy (Homeland), Sisi Stringer (Mortal Kombat), Lucy Ansell (Utopia), and Jacqueline McKenzie (Romper Stomper).

Jeremy Lindsay-Taylor is back in the role of Erik Falk, alongside Richard Roxburgh (Rake), Tony Briggs (Cleverman) and Kenneth Radley (The Power of the Dog).
