Chrissy Teigen and EGOT winner John Legend have announced the birth of their third child and her unique name has the most beautiful meaning.

While the new bundle of joy was born on January 13, the celebrity couple revealed a first-look alongside announcing her new moniker on January 20 (AEST)

“She’s here! Esti Maxine Stephens – the house is bustling, and our family could not be happier 💕,” the Cravings author revealed.

“Daddy sheds nightly tears of joy seeing Luna [six] and Miles [four] [their eldest children] so full of love, and I am learning you still need diapers with a c-section!? We are in bliss. Thank you for all the love and well wishes – we feel it all! X”

The caption accompanied a gorgeous pic of Esti’s older siblings nursing their new sister.

In a statement to People, John said: “What a blessed day,” adding that he was was “energised” despite not getting “a lot of sleep.”

What does the name Esti mean?

According to NameBerry, Esti means “star”, which is the perfect addition to their eldest daughter Luna, which of course holds the meaning of “moon”. Just gorgeous.

The new baby is even more special, due to the fact that she is a ‘rainbow baby’.

In September 2020, the couple lost their son Jack in what Chrissy later revealed was a “life-saving abortion.”
