Police officer and dragon boat racer, Teresa Thoi, blitzed her opponents with an arresting display of golfing skills to take home the plaid jacket and golden putter on Holey Moley, locking in her spot in the coveted Grand Final. With not long to go until Grand Final week tees off, the plaid jackets are getting rarer and rarer.
“I’ve got what it takes to take out the $100,000. I can smell it, see it and feel it. Bring it on!” said Teresa of her win. With great timing, strength, and agility, the Queensland police officer was cheered on by her dragon boat teammates, The Thoi Boys.
Teresa may have taken out the win but it was underdog Nathan Pamanter, a disability support worker, who won our hearts. Major wardrobe malfunctions coupled with some epic putting had Nathan on his way to the final putt off after beating some stiff competition from professional golfer, Kristalle Blum.
After duelling Maartje Theunissen on The Distractor, Kristalle made it through to the final round to meet Nathan and Teresa on Uranus. After racking up a third wardrobe malfunction, and battling harder than any other competitor we have seen so far in the competition, Nathan was knocked out leaving Teresa to take the win over Kristalle.
