To celebrate the tenth season of The Bachelors Australia, the producers are going back to the show’s fundamentals and, apparently, bringing us a super duper romantic journey to find love.

The man, the myth, the legend Osher Günsberg will once again be hosting the show and he has promised fans that they can expect some serious romance from The Bachelors’ leading men.

“I am thrilled to once again be a part of Australia’s favourite love story, and even more stoked that Melbourne will be the backdrop for the most romantic season we’ve ever made,” he said in a statement.

“The guys are so great, and the ladies who have chosen to be a part of this are powerful, smart women who aren’t afraid to find the love they came to find.”

Who are the leading men?

Wesley Senna Cortes, Ben Waddell and Luke Bateman will be handing out roses on their quest to find love on The Bachelors 2023.

Ben is an environmentalist who’s “just moved back to Australia”, presumably from Los Angeles as he’s involved in the entertainment industry.

“It’s such a surreal experience to take part in the new Bachelor series, and while I feel incredibly lucky it’s also very daunting. I’ll be going in with an open mind and open heart to find the girl of my dreams,” he said of the gig in a statement.

Wesley is a marketing and sales manager who has vowed to be Australia’s “favourite Brazillian Bachelor”.

“It’s a huge honour given what the show means to Australia, but also to represent my culture. It’s not every day that you have such an incredible team helping you find love. I couldn’t be more excited,” he said.

The third suitor, Luke, is an NRL player come lumberjack.

“This is the opportunity of a lifetime, and I’m feeling all the first date nerves – dialled up to 11. I’m looking for a partner who I can build and share a life with, a genuine person who makes me laugh and wants to start a family,” he said.

What can we expect this season?

Aside from romance, fans can expect some drama in the upcoming season, potentially making it both the most dramatic – and romantic – season yet.

“I don’t think you can get any more intense than three guys meeting 24 girls at the same time,” Wesley said in an interview on The Project. “It has been [a wild ride] already.”

“We’re already in the deep end,” Luke added.

Fans can expect a cracker of a season, because on top of the romance and drama, a previously-published casting page hinted at one major twist.

The Bachelors will air on Channel 10 and 10Play in 2023.
