Everyone’s favourite night of star-studded million-dollar advertisements is back for another year.

Oh, and there will be a football game too.

The Super Bowl will be held in California on Sunday February 13 (Monday Feb 14 for us Aussies), and this year’s lineup of commercials from some of the world’s biggest companies is already shaping up to be a big one.

This year, website builder and e-commerce platform Squarespace is back with its eighth Super Bowl commercial and it’s a colourful performance of alliteration you won’t want to miss.

Directed by Edgar Wright (Baby Driver, Last Night in Soho), narrated by André’ 3000’ Benjamin and featuring Zendaya (Euphoria, SpiderMan) as its main star, the ad centres around an entrepreneur named Sally (Zendaya) trying to sell her seashells – a retelling of the beloved tongue twister “Sally Sells Seashell.”

Squarespace has released an extended version of their commercial ahead of its premiere during the first quarter of the Sunday night game.

The ad begins with Sally struggling to make bank on her seashells, so she heads to Squarespace to create a stunning website, turning her business into a success.

Squarespace Founder and CEO, Anthony Casalena, said, “Squarespace provides today’s creator and entrepreneurs, like Zendaya, with everything they need to thrive through our all-in-one platform,

“Through this campaign, we hope to inspire the entrepreneurial spirit of a generation of creators that are building brands, and selling the things they’re passionate about. We aim to give them all the tools they need to grow a thriving online business,” he said.

Squarespace’s tools allow anyone to sell physical and digital products including content, classes, appointments, experiences, and more.

Their Super Bowl campaign “Everything to Shell Anything” is a playful riff on the company’s “Everything to Sell Anything” campaign to celebrate the dynamic new era of commerce that is revolutionising the world’s economy.

“As a creator myself, and a Squarespace customer since 2018, I understand the importance of having an online presence that truly represents you and your business,” said Zendaya.

You can watch the Super Bowl live from the US on Channel 7, 7Mate and ESPN from 9.30am (AEST) on Monday, February 14.
