Hold on to your cowboy hats because Yellowstone has been officially renewed for a fifth season on Stan.

This highly anticipated season follows on from the show’s past success, smashing records in the U.S, with the season four finale delivering over 15 million total views.

Led by Kevin Costner, the #1 drama on U.S cable television is set to begin production in May and will see the return of the show’s impressive ensemble that includes Oscar®-winner Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, Brecken Merrill, Jefferson White, Forrie Smith, Denim Richards, Ian Bohen, Finn Little, Ryan Bingham and Gil Birmingham.

Additionally, guest stars Jen Landon and Kathryn Kelly have been upped to series regulars.

The original drama series follows the Dutton family, owners of the largest contiguous ranch in the United States and is jampacked with unsolved murders, open wounds, shifting alliances, and hard-earned respect that will have you on the edge of your seat every episode.

The season 4 finale, which aired in early January, left audiences on a nail-biting cliffhanger.

The Paramount Network series landed its first major awards nomination in the Screen Actors Guild Awards for TV drama ensemble. However, up until now, Yellowstone has only boasted one Creative Arts Emmys nomination for production design for a narrative contemporary program.

Yellowstone is co-created by Oscar®-nominated screenwriter Taylor Sheridan (Wind River, Hell or High Water and Sicario) and John Linson. Executive producers include John Linson, Art Linson, Taylor Sheridan, Kevin Costner, David C. Glasser, Bob Yari and Stephen Kay.
